My Little Town Has Gone Crazy!

I live in Maine and have spent the majority of my life in a small town called Machias and surrounding towns. Crime has never been a factor here, until this week. In the past week it has gone from no problems to habing a double homicide with a kid injured and then today there is a bomb threat. Seems crazy that so much is happening to this little town that has had no issues in the past. Of course this is nothing compared to some places but for me this is all new.

I know what you mean. I go to an island in Scotland called Bute most holidays, and it used to be a quiet little place with little to no crime and a relaxing atmosphere. Now there are teen mothers all over the place, and drunken louts and graffiti on the walls in a few places. Not something i'd expect from a place that was at a time considered a luxury resort.

I live in a small town next to Jacksonville, NC (The one were the pregnent marine was killed) and this place is crazy now, Jacksonville is getting a bunch of (negative) news exposure, and everyone thinks were Rednecks. So I have have an idea of what your goin through.
