Thats a really good price there for a nice TV. Another option if you wanted to go a little bigger is a Vizio 47" LCD HDTV which I will be purchasing very soon to replace my ED 42" plasma. They go for about $200 more than what you are planning on paying for that one. Tigerdirect.com

I recommend going to projector route. There are several different ways to go about this, and it can be a lot cheaper than most people realize. In many cases, it can be cheaper than buying a new TV. You could buy a used projector off eBay. Search for "no lamp", "no bulb", "as-is" and "broken." Many people will list projectors as as-is or broken when all they need is a new lamp. Then, you go here: www.instructables.com/id/Head-Light-Projector-Mod-V1.2/. Instructables is a haven of DIY how-to's. That particular Instructable shows you how to wire a bulb for a car headlight to a projector, saving you thousands of dollars on bulbs. --OR-- Go to www.lumenlab.com and register for their forum. You'll find all the information you need on building your own projector. It is much cheaper and easier than it sounds. Trust me, I'm halfway through mine and it's coming along nicely. You could do a non-HD DIY projector for just over $200, with the HD projectors not costing that much more to make yourself.

Thats a really good deal. Infact, it's too good for that size of screen. Screens around 50" or less with 1080p aren't really noticeable. 720p works just fine. However, with technology improving and 1080p is taking over. Take the deal.
