img176.imageshack.us/img176/9365/1000528zq9.jpgYeah, so basically I'm an idiot. I've ALWAYS used a sponge with a few dabs of water on it, and wiped down my computer screen like.. once a month? So today I go to do the same, and I wipe down the entire screen, but..what's that? I see something that looks like a crumb on the edge of the screen, bottom part, and i can't get it out with my finger nail. So I take the sponge and press down on it very lightly to try and make it stick to the sponge. I get it out, but a half hour later, I go back to my computer and the color is smudged, and now there is a yellow line going upward. I made an appointment with the Apple store tomorrow after my classes, for 7:30, but I'm pretty sure all they will tell me is, 1.) Buy a new LCD screen (probably upwards of $400) or 2.) buy a new laptop I have a Macbook Pro.. $3,000 computer.. and i ed it up.

Tsk Tsk, stupid enough to make a silly mistake, eh? Depend on shall buy new laptop, if your laptop is new and nothing wrong with that, then hey new LCD screen. And, if it is new so you can go to shop and asked for replaced and make up lying story about that, such as say I was switch laptop in and the green thing come up, so I not know what was that or how' etc. So hopefully they able to agree to exchange with you.

Well I'll most likely need a new LCD screen, which I did some research on and for the 15" Macbook Pro, is anywhere from $4-$500. I would definitely rather pay that fee than buy a new laptop for $3,000 or have to downgrade the quality of the laptop by switching to a plastic one (mine is metal-like).
But yeah, I use it for school, and God.. That mark is just annoying as hell.
I guess I should be glad it's at the bottom of the screen and not directly in the middle.

that isn't too bad at all, I had my laptop on the floor and my friend pushed me onto it. The screen totally ed up and I was stuck with this for 6 months: I've had a new one which I've had nearly a year now and its much better, just that it doesn't have a Mic is the only downfall.
