I'm not quite sure how much these tv's range in price but I'm looking for the cheapest one possible. Does anybody know the price of the cheapest HDTV currently on the market? Any help would be appreciated.

32 inch 720p at circuit city was $599 I'm actually not familiar with HDTV's--I've owned regular tv's for my entire life. I don't want to spend more than $200 right now.

Even brand name wise? I'm not looking for anything like Sony--your saying it is "impossible" to find an HDTV for under $200?

Yes they are not that cheap. Even the best deals are not that low. Sorry.

Yeah, honestly, if you COULD buy an HDTV for $200, you wouldn't want it.

MAYBE, you can find a 17" or 19" LCD monitor for that price. I believe the $599.99 model that fair2flair mentioned is the Olevia 32" which is what I have in my college dorm right now. It's really a great tv and I haven't had any problems with it yet. Everyone on campus comes over for movie/game nights. Save up for it!

You're gonna have to shell out more than $200. Otherwise, you're SOL.

Yeah; you're not going to find a HDTV for $200. Not even a Vizio. I paid $1100 for my 42" 1080p Vizio.

May as well save up for a good one. Don't get the ****ty Vizio's. Those are more cheaper for a reason. Get a Sony or Samsung.

You sound like every other know-it-all wannabe hd fan boy that thinks they know what they are talking about. Sony and Samsung are over-rated and over-priced. Vizio is highly rated and is just as good as the other two. www.hdtvsolutions.com/VIZIO-GV42L-reviews.htmwww.pcworld.com/article/id,126398-page,1/article.html - This one The Vizio is rated #7 over #10 Sony Bravia.

Man who the F*** cares what brand you get. A Sony is not better than a Vizio or a Sanyo or any other brand. There all the same just different price.
But man the only ones you are going to find for 200 are like a 13' size or something like that. I have a 42'' Sanyo and its awesome, and well worth the price.
My mom has an ilo HD 27inch and it's good, I suggest looking into those aswell.
