When i'm talking to someone i don't even notice if they have earrings...It's a waste of time it isnt cool or anything in my opinion. You'd actually have to point it out for people to notice it. |

Take your mom to a piercing studio, let her talk to the artist. He/she will be able to enlighten her a little about things such as healing time, retainers, ability to take it out at certain times, etc. It'll ease her mind about it. My only suggestion is to get both ears pierced, however. A guy can't really pull off one ear too well. I've never seen it look good on anyone, actually...even women.
and don't listen to the posters on here for advice on this kind of stuff. Anyone that knows anything about getting a piercing wouldn't jump on the "it'll make you gay" bandwagon. Remember, these are people that collect toys of men in tights. They're not social aficionados.

Look at the locations of most of the "gay" replies...Midwest and the South, which are both devoid of any culture. Some UK too, which is odd, since England is the metrosexual of the world. |

Yep, same as here. My friend was show off to have earring, then he decided to removed it. You should buy neclace, like as I do. and leave for 24/7. it way better than earring. You can removed necklane and put back whenever you want, bur earring, you can removed it and have to put it back within 6 weeks later or the hole will fade out. |
