I won't bore you with a long story, I'd just like to know if you guys feel the same way I do about this, that it is ridiculous.
-Sitting at my lunch table at school, there's 6 or 7 of us there.
-Kid next to me bends down, and we always mess with eachother, so I rip the wrapper off of my Propel bottle, and toss it in his hood.
-Wrapper falls out of the hood, and hits *GASP* the floor. Yea.
-The bitchy teacher who watches the tables to make sure no one's fightign and stuff like that walks over, the usual pissed off 'I'm miserable so you should be too' face on.
-She asks me for my ID, which means she's sending it to the deans and getting me in trouble. I ask why, and she says it's because I 'deliberately threw my garbage on the floor, after being warned on numerous occasions.'
-I explain what really happened, and she says she doesn't care. 'Are you kidding me?' I asked her. 'I'm looking right at it, I can pick it up and throw it in the garbage.' Then she tells me she's done talking, and that I am being smart. At this point I get pissed too, because she's being really not even listening to me. So I say something like, 'hell, I'll even let you pick which can it goes in, how about that?' She says she will get the 'police officer' over to my table if I don't cooperate with her, even though I tossed my ID on the table in front of her while I was talking.
-I ask her what more she wants, I gave her my ID, and already picked up the garbage. By this point my whole table and the table next to us are shaking their heads at her attitude, and the things she's saying. She ends up telling both tables she'll split us up (even though she can't do that.) And walks away.
-That was yesterday. I get called down to the dean's office and my dean tells me she's giving me a 3 to 6, which means you stay 3 hours after school on the date allotted. I explain to her what really happened, and she says she wasn't there so she doesn't know. Me, being that I don't have the greatest attitude at this point, tell her that there's about 16 or 17 kids that can tell her about the unnescasarry scene the teacher actually made. She tells me it's not her problem, so I get up and walk out.
I really don't care about school anymore, I'm at my wit's end, so it really doesn't bother me that I have this detention (which I'm not going to show up for), but it erks me when I am accused of something that I didn't do. Well, didn't do intentionally, and was given far too strict a punshiment.
I guess I did go into a boring story, my bad. Just need to vent. Let me know what you think.
