hamish and andy rule Australian radio.
They have a show on fridays called "Pants off Friday" for 4 hours on a friday night they sit in the studio in their underpants while doing the show.
but yeah it is meant to embarass them, they arent supposed to be proffesionals.

To be honest, i didnt really find Hamish and Andy funny until they started appearing on Rove. Hamish is definately the better one. By the way, i hadn't heard of this contest but really i dont intend on taking part anyway. But if your friend wants $800 then why not (if he thinks its worth it)  |

It's not spite, it's more of the whole begging for votes thing. Dude i'm gonna offer you some nice advice...Don't pick fights with people over nothing.  The only time stuff like this works with out total complaint is when an Admin or that Classic guy endorses you. Even then, you'll hear snide comments of unfair loyalty and support.
