This year i'm going to be doing some Christmas shopping online and i'm just wondering if online stores carry deals as the stores would on Black Friday?

I would imagine that most will not most likely. They make more money by dragging people into their stores. Plus the sales are for a limited time and having them online could probably cause problems.

I know last year that some did, and some had online specials that weren't in the stores. I think that usually that's the case, there are some online specials, and some store specials. I know I got a few things online really cheap for last year's black friday (camera and memory card).

They have online only deals, but they are not nearly as good as the in store deals.

Actually, the really big online shopping day is Cyber Monday, which is the 26th. Don't know if they're doing any sales for it though.

Amazon did last year, but it was awful. They had Xbox 360's for only $100, but they were limited to 1000. The sale started at noon or something like that. So many people got on the site it crashed and burned and the whole site was down for a couple of hours.

I know Best Buy did, because I bought a memory card for my camera & a bluetooth online & it was in the ad. I think they limit the quanity though because I remember wanting to buy some Seinfield box sets that were in the ad, but they were out of stock online

I am so prepared this year made a list stuff I want at each store, stuff more then one store have and then I ordered them in order of where I have to go first based on what I think will sell the quickest. It seems the DVD sales this year are almost the same titles at each store with a differance of like 1 here or there kinda weird they all must have got a deal on the same stuff from each studio.

Yeah, that's typically what they do, when there is a big sale they just do it for a limited amount of time, but as you mentioned, it often doesn't work out because of technical difficulties. I tried to get one of those 360's last year, but I failed like 99% of the people that went on there. |

I've actually got everything purchased but two items. I don't think either of them will be in high demand. I need to pick up a rocking horse and a set of mickey mouse bucket seat covers.
