I recently lost my gym card, and the gym won't remake my card most likely till June(very weird gym only can signup in december and june).And there's no other gyms in the town. I know there's a bunch of fancy machines out there saying this and that, but does anyone know of some that actually work?
Or would I be better off going oldfashion, situps,squats,pushups and such, as I've been doing lately.

With time and dedication, you can pretty much accomplish most of your goals with a simple weight bench. With a bench, you can do a full body workout. Throw in cardio and some pushups, and you're all set.

You can get a cheap home gym machine at Wal*Mart. I got one for $200. Craigslist is a good place to check too. People will be coming off of their New Years Resolution soon, so you'll be able to get some cheap weights and stuff like that. My dad recently got one of those worthless ski machine things (that retail for like $400) for $75.

Go to a fitness equipment selling place, it is indeed much better than the products found at walmart and so on. The equipment places sell better stuff which you know will work and they can advise you better.

The Wal-Mart stuff is fine for beginners-intermediates.

dud above me wants to get banned apparently in case someone reads this and thinks i am a dumb ass,
now on topic i think that a simple weight bench with the right training will do just fine as long as ur not tryin to be a body builder or nothin.
