My girlfriend got me Doink the Clown and Papa Shango for V-Day. We opened up the box and Doink has a very sticky film on the plastic front. How can I get it off without messing up the package? I tried a rug and warm water, but nothing. Anyone brought from ebay and had this happen?

But...nail polish remover. Or scrape it off.

Lighter fluid is actually an adhesive remover. Just don't hit it with a match. I should have to say that, but the users here at WF worry me sometimes.
