mickie wins by eliminating cristian hyme. jason dukes was also in there but sadly didnt have a match.

ian def tank in a sick contest with the rotten rush

drake def lane with a splash off the top rope through a barbwire table

tank def corp with a powerbomb through a light tube table when the deep south fags come out to help him. a sick contest, my first time seeing light tubes and all that sick ****.

all in all a great night of wrestling. i was really impressed, IWA put on a great show with their core roster without many big names. i also met ED and maniwa.

I love Chuck but I think it's very...not good...that he won the Women's title. I'm sick of Mickie Knuckles in general but I don't want to see Chuck with that title UNLESS he retires it in Louisville or Midlo.

yeah it was a really sweet show. today i honestly had my doubts but the show was great, i was all bummed BJ wasn't there but crap IWA really picked up and had a great show. everyone busted their ass tonight and everyone there seemed to have a great time.

ian also said that he;s outdoing himself with the TPI again, gets me thinking that homicide, AJ, hernandez, etc could be in the tourney.

I really feel bad for Billy Roc, he blows a lot of spots now and days. Must have some slippery shoes, he never can get onto the ropes.

yeah in all honesty after he messed up on those ropes the 2nd time i gave up on him and started rooting for hamrick. it sucks ian was even watching billy from the door.

I love Billy Roc, but he's always blown spots. It sucks but it's how it has been. I don't necessarily blame him because the ropes in IWA-MS are pretty crappy. But Billy is still really green. That's why I hope he does get more matches like the one against Danielson before it all went to hell. That'll only help him.

here are your official results from the IWA board:

1) Battle Royal where the winner receives a title shot against Chuck Taylor later in the night since BJ Whitmer was ill and unable to make it to the show. Mickie Knuckles wins the battle royal much to the delight of the live crowd.

2) Troy Hades def. Keith Cream - Troy did the damnedest move I have ever seen to win this match. He had his opponent hooked for what looked to be a Pedigree. He then jumped up and landed knees first onto his back and then did like a sunset flip powerbomb and landed it in the form of a lungblower. I saw it and I still don't believe it.

3) Billy Roc def. Chris Hamrick

4) CJ Otis def. Jack Thriller

5) Chrisjen Hayme def. The Hype Jimmy Shalwin. Shalwin was one of the most cheered men all night but he missed the moonsault and Hayme hit the 450 for the win.

6) Chuck Taylor def. Mickie Knuckles in a title vs. title match to become the new IWA Mid-South Women's Champion so Chuck is on a roll heading into next week as he is just days away from becoming the longest reigning IWA Mid-South Heavyweight Champion ever and now he has the Women's Championship and maybe the Light Heavyweight Championship as well after next week!!! The crowd thought that Mickie had it won as she hit a Top Rope Belly to Belly Suplex and then did a hardway suplex and a German Suplex but Chuck Taylor was able to survive that onslaught. Chuck eventually hit a vicious Omega Driver onto the basketball court floor on Mickie. He rolled her back into the ring to gain the pinfall victory.

7) The Iron Saints def. Naptown Dragons (xOMGx & Vortekz) to retain the IWA Mid-South Tag Team Titles after hitting the pendelum double foot stomp. It was announced before the match that Sal is no longer the #1 seed in the TPI but he is running for President in 2008 as a GREEN Party candidate and he wants to legalize marijuana. I think we have a new contender for most popular person of the night with the fans.

8) Ian Rotten def. Freak Show in the Joliet Street Fight and fight is what it was. A major fist fight all over the place. The fans were crazy for this one and Ian gets the victory with the Rotten Rush as Freak Show was holding the spike. Ian takes the spike and gets ready to go after Show when Insane Lane and Tank hit the ring. Before they could spike Ian however, Corporal and Drake make the save.

9) Drake Younger def. Insane Lane in the barbed wire madness match. Lane powerbombed Drake through a barb wire table. Drake did a flying crossbody off the top sending Lane crashing down onto a barb wire board. Drake went for a frog splash from the top to the floor but the barb wire table DID NOT BREAK. Sick. Drake then goes back up top and comes off with an elbowdrop and breaks the table and pins Lane.

10) Tank def. Corporal Robinson in a Fans Bring the Weapons match to become the new IWA Mid-South Death Match Champion with interference from Lane and Show to help him get the win. They beat on Corporal until the Mid South crew run out and save him. Ian calls out Chuck Taylor and tells him that he needs to beat Mike Quackenbush on the next IWA Deep South show on September 1st and bring their title to us. He then tells Chuck that he has 30 days to prove that he is a woman or else he can't keep the women's title. Ian lets Freak Show know that he will draw more blood, break more bones and put Freak Show out for longer than Show put him out for.

Crazy long day that got started by realizing that someone had cut the lock off the trailer and stolen the sound system. Luckily we were able to find a place to rent a sound system in order to have it for the shows this weekend. Damn Merrillville, Indiana to hell. As Ian said tonight, if anyone in northern Indiana offers you a sound system real cheap...it's probably ours.

Sorry that this isn't a better write up but I currently have 4 hours to sleep before heading out for the festivities tomorrow.

Chuck with the women's title could seriously be golden. I'm sure most have seen the picture floating around of him in what could best be described as "teenage prostitute drag" but let's hope that doesn't happen.

Apart from the battle royal, the first half of the card sounds really weak. Chuck-Mickie, because I just see Mickie giving Chuckie T a death look for his shenangans, tomfoolery, and hijinx. He's actually so awesome he does all 3.

The death matches seem good. I'm gonna have to get this tape when it comes out, hopefully on the 4th of August.

It's funny because Mickie is a serious contender for the worlds title, that was the original match. He said, her title needs to be on line too... and yeah. It was quite a momentous occasion.

Sounded like a pretty decent show all around, card isn't too exciting but still has some good stuff on it that's worth watching.

Taylor hitting an Omega Driver on the floor and not only that but winning the Womans Championship? Best.

Ironsaints VS Naptown Dragons should be good, I love me some OMG & Vortekz.
