It’s not even about reselling. I was a collector since day one and I poured good money, time and effort into acquiring my collection and some of the harder to find figures, figures labelled as “exclusive”, only for Mattel to rerelease it. For example, that Nash - I paid three figures for it 3-4 years ago - and happy to for a rare exclusive - and now it’s back at retail. What’s the point in building your collection when you can sit and wait and hope it comes back. That’s not how this hobby should work. It’s a complete and utter slap in the face to collectors. Yeah I dont understand any of that bc I dont collect them to resell later on or collect them hoping they gain value. I collect them bc I like them. If more people can get the figures I already have, cool. Good for them. I'm happy for them. Not mad they're getting something that was "rare" Also, if I pad big money for stuff that got released later on at retail price? That's tough but I'm not gonna be mad at that either. Just gonna chalk it up to the collecting game. Wins and losses. The most I spent on any figures was elite 16 Nash, elite 7 HBK, elite 7 triple H. Averaging around $65-$75. Happily bought 2 ultimate outsider sets, and got the new vault DX too. I bought every iteration of WM12 HBK that Mattel released, and I ordered 4 ultimate SDCC sets. I can understand the otherside a little, it's a gem in your collection this or that but for me it's a non issue, get these great figs in more hands. These aren't trading cards after all. |

So they only announced 5 for Elite 118 the 4 members of Bloodline 2.0 and Nia Jax?
Don’t remember Cody wearing them 2 suits especially the pink one.

Do we have to have the same argument about rereleases and value every time?
Anyway, they showed more today than I was expecting. I do like that the Vault figures are continuing to get upgrades (Cody's jacket, Cena with the Prototype head, etc.)

It’s having your time, effort and money going into investing into something, only for it to then become readily available and far, far cheaper. It cheapens the experience and sucks the fun out of the hunt. Imagine if all of the Hasbros got released again now at retail. Imagine all those collectors that had invested huge amounts of money into hunting and collecting, and then ultimately it’s not worth it. |

At this rate, I think I should give up hope on a Bayley Ultimate.
A little surprised we didn’t see even more Punks.

Doesn’t Kurt need a bald head for the wig to go on? That 1999/2000 head does not work for a 2002 Kurt.
And why does SS HHH have that head when he was clean shaven? If they were going to recycle a head, it should have been the Fan Central one.
