Pretty solid reveals overall. Nothing that I'm crazy excited about but all high quality stuff
Not to be too negative though, but including John Cone in the From the Vault series kind of pisses me off. I'm already annoyed enough about BAFs because the selections aroind them are usually phoned in lazy figures. So I had to spend like $90 on 4 figures I really didn't need just to build John Cone. Then Mattel.rewards me by releasing him standalone like what, a year later? I'm sorry but that is shady business.

As someone with the original retro Roman, I appreciate that one being safe from losing value. It’s maybe the only one I own that still has high value, but it’s not like I’m going to sell it.

I was a collector since day one and I poured good money, time and effort into acquiring my collection and some of the harder to find figures, figures labelled as “exclusive”, only for Mattel to rerelease it. For example, that Nash - I paid three figures for it 3-4 years ago - and happy to for a rare exclusive - and now it’s back at retail. What’s the point in building your collection when you can sit and wait and hope it comes back. That’s not how this hobby should work. It’s a complete and utter slap in the face to collectors. |

Yeah I dont understand any of that bc I dont collect them to resell later on or collect them hoping they gain value. I collect them bc I like them. If more people can get the figures I already have, cool. Good for them. I'm happy for them. Not mad they're getting something that was "rare" Also, if I pad big money for stuff that got released later on at retail price? That's tough but I'm not gonna be mad at that either. Just gonna chalk it up to the collecting game. Wins and losses. |

The figure and packaging are different. You’ll still have that figure and it will still have its value. The SES Punk is still going for a ton. |
