Here comes a new challenger? http://instagram.com/p/DAlcgx9P5fC Little is known about this new company. They popped up several months ago under a different name but recently changed it. A lot of their comments or responses come across as AI based or using a translator. It’s different. They say they are based out of Arizona but have a team well beyond that area. My speculation is they are doing Mr. Wonderful, Saba Simba, and David Schultz figures but I have no confirmation on that.

I would guess Jake the Snake Roberts. I think we have enough Hasbro retro companies. If these people can bring out some good product at a much cheaper price I am all in, other than that it will be a hard fight for them to get my money.
Edit: I looked at the picture and that definitely looks like Mr Wonderful.

That's definitely Orndorff's silhouette. And yeah, I would guess Jake too based on that clue. Also that center silhouette looks like it could be Jake.

The bald silhouette in the front row looks like it could be Nikita Koloff

The bald silhouette on the right in the front row looks like it could be Nikita Koloff I think it is Saba Simba. He appears to be barefoot and has kind of unusual knee pads/legs. The back right caught my attention. Smaller body/parted hair. Could be Danny Davis or Tito Santana.

True, Saba Simba is an excellent guess as well … maybe the smaller guy in the back is Charles Robinson ( just kidding ) … anyone know when will these be officially revealed?

The bald silhouette in the front row looks like it could be Nikita Koloff Holy smokes, we need a Nikita Koloff retro figure!! In one of their previous posts they announce that one of the 5 figures will be a high flying superstar. Someone guessed Snuka, and they replied that this person has the same hair color. Let the rampant speculation begin!

That very much looks like Davis (in his wrestling attire) to me now that you mentioned it.

That's funny you mentioned that because in my original post here I was going to mention that Satoru Sayama did kind of a proto DDT during his orignal run as Tiger Mask incthe very early 80s but, I feel like the general consensus amongst fans is that Jake invented the move by accidentally slipping backwards while having someone in a front facelock according to lore.

Smaller wrestler may be the person who “invented” the move, could it be Petey Williams ala the Canadian Destroyer?
Additionally, a lot of people say that the middle wrestler is Bryan Clark.

A friend pointed out to me that there were a few wrestlers who liked the IG post at the top: Bryan Clark and Sgt. Buddy Lee Parker. Jake would be a good guess because the silhouette does resemble him but was he actually “the inventor” of the DDT or did he just perfect it? Some people credit Black Gordman with using the move throughout the 70’s (maybe even the 60’s). He is a Mexican wrestler but there is footage of him in Japan using it in the 70’s. His version involved more of a roll from his opponent whereas Jake’s was a flat drop most of the time.

The back right caught my attention. Smaller body/parted hair. Could be Danny Davis or Tito Santana. I thought it was Rick Martel??
but wasn't there a company going to put out Das Wunderkind Alex Wright? another option perhaps?

I saw Harley Race's son and Paul Orndorff's IG accounts both follow them so good chance they are in series 1 or signed down the line. Would love to have either of them

Back row left could possibly be Diamond Dallas Page … the diamond cutter was a pretty devastating finisher at times

Back row left could possibly be Diamond Dallas Page … the diamond cutter was a pretty devastating finisher at times doubtful (could be wrong) but he's under a WWE Legends deal so highly unlikely he's able to sign his own figure contracts now, and I doubt these guys got in years ago before he re-signed with WWE

I’d rather Nikita be in the BRG line at some point along with uncle Ivan …as for the high flying superstar, I woulda guessed Flyin Brian except he didn’t exactly have the same hair color as Snuka
