As the title asks, have you ever seen an Unidentified Flying Object / Unidentified Anomalous Phenomenon?
I've seen a LOT of unexplainable things in the sky dating back to 2006. I've never seen a craft/ship, but I've seen so many lights in the sky that defy the laws of physics that are 100% not stars, shooting stars, satellites, planes, etcs... Truly unidentifiable
I'd love to hear your experiences, if so!

I wish my brother was a member on here. He could write a book about his experiences in what he believes in. UFOs, ghosts, Bigfoot, disappearances, the unexplained, etc. I just smile politely & nod my head when he goes on & on.

Surely we would have found SOME form of physical evidence of an intelligent terrestrial creature by now.

There have been a couple of times which I am pretty sure I've seen them but 2 other times were 100% definitive and it was not only myself that saw them. The first time was above the apartments across the street from me. I was a kid, maybe 12 years old. It was getting dark, my friend and I were playing outside the front of our house. Next thing you know this huge object which seemed like 2 saucers together as one object cam down really quick and just hovered above the apartments. It made no sound at all. Quite a few people were watching it and I went in the house and got my Dad who saw it too. It stayed there for a few minutes then just went up faster and faster until you could not longer see it. My father called about it, I am not sure if it was the police or armed forces or what. He said they dismissed it as a blimp. Well that was total BS, it was no blimp, not even close. Blimps make noise, blimps do not go straight up until they are gone and don't travel at that speed at all. And they definitely don't look like that. The second time was around 1991. My wife and I lived in South Philly at the time, we had a grocery store within walking distance which we walked to that day to grab a few things. It was maybe 6 or7 pm. As we were coming out of the store there were a whole bunch of people outside just staring at the sky. We looked up and low and behold, there was this object or objects way way up. Almost like stars but not as high up. Like dots in formation. They would make a circle then come out of it in formation to form another pattern then come out and fly around to make another patterned formation. We started walking home and it was still doing it. We (and many others) watched it do it's thing. It was definitely something deliberate and controlled, nothing natural, not shooting stars. Even people from Northeast Philly saw it. Eventually they just all shot up until they were gone.

I'd love to get a better idea of the shape/size I could but it's hard for me to remember. The first one when I was a kid reminded me of the USS Enterprise (Star Trek) except for the two long warp drive engines at the rear it seemed like another saucer. The second one when I was an adult was more like multiple crafts but they were so high up they just looked like stars but just kept doing formations back and forth, twirling and zooming around. It could have even been one splitting apart and reforming or whatever. When I see drones these days doing those shows it seems very close to that but way way up there. I'll try and draw both if I have time and I can remember to do it. lol

My experience sounds somewhat similar to Jack's second, and in close proximity (in location, but not time). Back in college, around 2008 or 2009, a friend and I were driving back to his apartment after picking pizza up in the evening in South Jersey. We were driving along a main road, partially residential, partially farmland. We saw something in the sky that looked like a grouping of glowing orange orbs (he pulled over so we could get a better look). They kind of appeared one by one until they formed a formation (I don't remember exactly what formation). They stayed together in that formation for a little and then all at once, and VERY quickly, flew away. I'm talking you saw them move one second and they were gone the next, and they all moved in perfect unison. Truly unexplainable and my friend and I were in shock.
This was before I owned a smart phone, and I tried to get a photo/video but my phone was so shitty nothing showed up since it was so dark out.

I have seen many flying things in the night sky but always wrote it off as "Probably some satelite of some kind" and moved on with my life. I believe in life somewhere in space, but I don't believe aliens have ever visited us.

I live in southern WV & back in 2012 there was a horrible derecho that lasted for a solid week … there was no power in most places, empty grocery store shelves, gas stations literally running out of gas with cars lined up for miles to get it, it resembled something out of an apocalyptic movie … well one day shortly after it was all over I was at work, I walked outside to get something from the trunk of my car & was looking up because it was a beautiful sunny day, a clear bright blue mid afternoon sky, not a cloud in sight … then I noticed it, a silver metallic bullet shaped object hanging stationary in the sky with no movement or any kind of sound … it caught my attention because the sun was reflecting off of it making it gleam brightly … I stared at it in awe for a few seconds & then ran inside to grab my phone, when I got back outside it was still there in the same spot so I snapped a pic of it, or so I thought … after I took the pic I looked down at my phone for no more than a few seconds then back up to the sky & it was gone, vanished … as I walked back inside again the power went out then came back on 5 minutes later, which I’ve also heard is sometimes a characteristic of a UFO visit … I have no idea what it was but it did not show up in the pic I took … I was talking to a coworker about a month later when he told me he’d also seen it that day from the front porch of his house but when he tried to record it with his phone it didn’t show up in the video … it was only one of a few times through the years I’ve seen things that I can’t explain (several times at Myrtle Beach with my wife & family also as witnesses) … it certainly does make you wonder

I’ve only had one UFO encounter in my life, and it was an incredibly strange experience. What made it even more unsettling was that I wasn’t alone—luckily, my good friend was with me, and we both saw it. The fact that we witnessed it together made the situation feel more real and less like something I imagined. It was such an extraordinary event that I decided to write about it so that more people could learn about my experience. I wanted to make sure my story was as clear and compelling as possible, so I used the services from www.topessaywriting.org/expository-essay-writing-service to help refine my thoughts and make the writing smooth and engaging. Sharing this story has been important to me because I believe others might have had similar experiences and could relate to what I went through

Nothing much, basically just the odd light in the sky late on some nights but i probably chalked it up to being a helicopter, satelite or something, i didn't pay it much attention to stand there and observe if there was any irregular movement pattern, i probably just went on my merry way and had to be somewhere after staring up at it for a quick second.. I don't really travel much outside my small town so i wouldn't expect much unusual sightings..
I'm open to believe in life out there, i wouldn't laugh the idea off like some people, i always find it interesting hearing peoples stories about their experiences though..

The idea of UFO's being aliens doesn't work for me. They have traveled through space across distances we can't even comprehend, found a planet (Earth) with life and they spend their time playing "Hide and Go Seek" with us? They don't try to contact us. They just appear and disappear while flying around? We can see them so we know they exist. They know we know they exist, yet all they do is fly around? Doesn't make sense.
The idea of them crashing here makes even less sense. Space is made up of the most hazardous environments imaginable. Fluctuations between extreme hot and cold temperatures, asteroid belts, quasars, super novas, radiation, black holes and on and on. A species with the kind of technology required to traverse space isn't going to come all this way and then crash. Their technology is capable of withstanding the harshest conditions in the universe, but somehow it fails when they arrive here?
And even less likely than them crashing is us somehow shooting them down. Their technology is beyond anything we can imagine. If they've spent ANY TIME developing military technology (weapons, armor, shielding etc) then nothing we have could hurt them in any way.
I 100% believe there is life out there, and I 100% believe there is life out there more advanced than us. I don't believe they have ever visited us however.
So what are UFOs then? I think it has something to do with they way of the universe that we don't understand yet. Thousands of years ago people had no answers for things like earthquakes, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, swarms of insects, shooting stars etc. and often attributed it to religion and/or god. As time went by and science advanced we learned that those occurrences were worldly experiences that are very much explainable.
Humans are very intelligent, but technologically we have advanced more in the last 100 years than in the previous 9000 years before that. We are still very young and "stupid" in that regard. As time goes by and we continue to grow I think we will come up with an explanation for what we are seeing.

Just last night around 2am I saw a slow blinking red light moving horizontally in a straight line not too high in the air about 300m from my home. Normally I’d put it down to being a helicopter but there was no sound, dead quiet. Possibly a drone but I live rural and my nearest neighbour lives about a mile away and he’s in his late 80s. Not much to see around my property, especially at 2am. Just endless paddocks so the idea of it being a drone was quickly dismissed.
