I think we were all hoping and praying for one big return to the line from the big four for Comic Con and since it didn't happen most of us are left with a bad taste in our mouth. Out of the big four which of these names do you think are most likely to return or do you expect ANY of them to ever return???
The Road Warriors- I think Triple H wants them but from what I've heard the estate wants nothing to do with WWE at least as of a few years ago. Really hope this changes.
Ric Flair- I think he's back at some point
The Macho Man- I would have said this was a given but if he's not back already then when?
Sting- I love Sting and would love all the incredible looks he would give but Sting loves money. Tony might pay him a decent check just to say Sting is aew's legend.

Thankfully, we have great versions of all of these already released by Mattel.
Is it every possible outfit combination of their entire careers? No. But at least having something is better than nothing, like Jakks having no Macho Man, Sting, Ricky Steamboat in the classics line.

I want to say Savage because he’s my favorite, but at this point it’s probably Flair. With the Charlotte connection I feel like it’s just a matter of when.

I’d say Macho and Flair are most likely, followed by Road Warriors, and then Sting.

Flair needs WWE to remain relevant. Flair is in his 70's lol, nobody is going to make him relevant. He's an absolute icon in wrestling, and merchandising is the best way to capitalize on his legacy for sure. He can license himself out to a ton of companies and make money, that's why he left WWE in the first place, same with Savage's estate. Why sign exclusively when you can sell your image across a bunch of licensors? Major WF Pod is apparently paying their licensees quite well for instance. If WWE wants some of these guys back, they will need to allow for them to work with other companies.

Hopefully all of them come back. I'm still waiting for Demolition to come back into the line as well.
Some guys have a deal with WWE that allow them to be made from multiple companies. Andre the Giant, British Bulldog, Eddie Guerrero, with the new regime things have gotten better for the wrestlers or estates to sign

My name is named after his cannabis brand. I'm sure his name and image on it is worth more than anything WWE is paying. Also he no longer has a deal with aew. It was through his energy drink which aew stopped advertising.

Also he no longer has a deal with aew. It was through his energy drink which aew stopped advertising. He has a net worth of $500,000. That's nothing to sneeze at (and I am living on a teacher salary so would gladly take it), but for a Rushmore GOAT that has headlined PPVs for 4 decades, sold out arenas the world over, there is no reason that it shouldn't be at least 10x that (if not more). Too much spending, not enough saving. So yes, he needs to be relevant with publicity and p.r. because obviously that drip ain't paying the bills.
