What was the rumoured original pick for the SDCC exclusive? As an HBK fan, I am happy nonetheless. There wasn’t any. Just speculation based on who appears to be available or potential signings with some sort of pop culture appeal. |

How many versions are there of this "Boyhood Dream Comes True" HBK?? I have the Jakks version, and I know I've seen this before from Mattel.

After rewatching WM12 they did get his boots completely wrong they’re suppose to be black and white and the design is wrong. The boots on the figure are return HBK era. Just like the crying head, it’s great and I know Bill and Steve are about figure photography but can’t include the winged eagle to complete the scene. SMH at Steve and Bill for dropping the ball on the details on a SDCC exclusive. Will it stop me from getting it, no, but do better, be better Mattel.

But that's not gonna stop me from getting him. I think my main gripe with this figure is the Ric Flair torso choice. It’s horrible and doesn’t suit Shawn at all. The Rollins torso would of looked better, I think even the smaller Jeff Hardy torso too. Harness is missing too. |

They never get shawns boots right bur to be fair i doubt they have the rights to the logos.
As far as the torso, they could have made that look better easily. Seths torso is perfect for shawn. I would swap it myself but then i would need about 4 seths to swap all my hbks.
Maybe one day if his ultimates go on sale
Until then i hope mattel can change his torso

I’m glad it’s a wrestler this time, but i won’t be picking this up. The boots aren’t right, the torso isn’t right, a lot of things aren’t right. Why is hbk bigger than razor? Why is hbk bigger than hitman? While this is a cool exclusive, I won’t be picking it up. Money is tight these days and Mattel keeps making stuff that’s “alright “ or. “Cool” but they can’t even get the figure accurate. I’ll be spending my money on the BRG Flair insead.
Mattel is my main collection, but I’m slowly distancing from them,
