Glacier, Mortis and Wrath would do better without the anchor talent. Rock and Roman are way overdone and if we’re talking toys then there are way cooler looking figures than someone’s dad and uncles to go with them lol
I 100% agree with this. I *know* it's true.
It baffles me that either Mattel refuses to realize this or take a chance on it -- or they can't explain to Walmart why these would sell better (because Walmart wants people like "The Rock").
And I totally disagree with the person who said this would have sold better with the Final Boss Rock. It's way too expensive to pay for 1 figure you want, and it doesn't make sense as a 3-pack either.

Honestly, between this, the TNFT set, the response to the Smackdown set, and what I am guessing will be an absymsal turnout for the Wild Samonas set, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that these multipacks aren't going to be made much longer. The whole reason we were told they weren't making multipacks is they don't sell. Guess what, they still don't sell. They won't keep going much longer. And the fault is all Mattel's. The character and/or design choices are horrible. They deserve to not sell. When did wrestlers start becoming referred to as “characters” ? …. Just curious, I’ve noticed this a lot lately

I don't think it has anything to do with who is in the pack, I think it has everything to do with multi-packs like this don't fly off shelves. The Four Horsemen 4-pack and the Heenan Family 4-pack featured some of the biggest names in wrestling history and each sat on shelves FOREVER, even as I loved each of them and am grateful they came out. It's just a price point thing imo.

So -- for a very long time. Hmmm that’s funny, take Steve Borden for example, Sting wasn’t his real name or persona & he wasn’t referred to as a “character” in the late 80s & 90s, he was a wrestler, same deal with Undertaker & Paul Bearer in that era … going back even further than that, guys like Lazor Tron, Missing Link & Bruiser Brody were not referred to as “characters”, they were wrestlers … so it couldn’t be that long ago since this character reference was started … sounds to me like more sh💩tty modern day Wwe lingo with another example of it being how wrestling fans back in the day were known as exactly that, fans, not a “universe”

Maybe not on TV cuz that’s breaking kayfabe but fans and wrestlers have all used it to refer to the wrestler’s gimmick for ages. Sting, Brody, Hogan, Jake, Warrior, Macho, etc were all characters.

I want it but since High Chief is the only guy I don’t have I can’t see spending 70 on it. Long game on this one I think.

Based on what I've seen online and in person, this set will do MUCH worse than Milk-O-Mania. I did see a lot of those sell -- they clogged pegs later.
This 3-pack is selling zero from the beginning (and with really good reason)

I kid you not, this is already selling for less than retail (shipped) on eBay...

I understand why they couldn't, but in hindsight do yall think this set would have sold better if instead of that Rock figure we got the Rocky Maivia from the TNF pack? Personally id have been far more likely to pay 75 bucks for it if it did

Could stand to have a flashback Jorts Austin to play with, the Kurt in that set was solid, it's the only way to get the Invasion WCW shirt, and that Stephanie, while not as useful now since the main-series Elite, still has uses. (Especially for her legs)

The Maivia Legacy Rock should've been included in the MNW Elite Series 3 line. The MNW Elite should've been included in the Legends Elite line like the rest of the Nation.

I was just at my local Walmart & the same 5 are still there with 3 more sets added to the shelf … what logical sense does it make to put out more when the others aren’t selling?

They have stock and need to do something with it. I really do agree with the title of this thread about it being the worst selling ever. They're gonna take a massive wash on this.

I think that Smackdown 4 pack atTarget will give this a run for the money as far as poor sales. Figures are all very bland even though they are big names. All guys that have many figures already too. This won't sell until Target slashes the price.
