Your definition of "peg warming" is interesting. Yeah...so... I didn't even use those words you quoted lol. In my area this one didn't appear to move right when it hit the shelves. I'm questioning the character selections and the price tag. The focus is on how it is moving initially.

What's hilarious is a Hogan can be readily available on the shelf for a week or more and it's warming.
But a Rock 3 pack been readily available for a couple months and clearly warming but we gotta reevaluate because making light of that isn't as hip as making light of Hogan.

Clearly not peg warming. Shelf warming

I actually only want the Rocky Johnson in the set. With the more accurate skin tone, chest tattoos and more iconic attire, its's a solid upgrade over the CE Rocky Johnson that came a few years back. Zero interest in the other figures however, so it would have to be on serious deep discount for me to purchase.

I know there are extenuating circumstances..... But is the WWE Target 4-Pack the worst selling 4-pack ever? I counted 48 of these bad boys at Ollie's on Friday afternoon.....

What price are they asking? And what happens if they don't sell there -- it goes to an even worse clearance place, or just destroyed?

Available at every wAlmart but this is also a price issue. Everyone and their grandma has a rock figure or 5 but if it was 60 bucks or less it would have sold. We are paying 12$ extra for the box...
as far as hogan 4 pack goes, never saw it in my Travels. Guess they were mainly distributed on west coast. Havent seen them show up at ollies in northeast.

Packs should just be online exclusives and limited number. They sold big time back in the BCA days but not since really

I’ve got 2 Walmarts in my area, and when I first saw this set at each location a few weeks ago one had 6 and the other had 3. As of yesterday neither have sold any more. I’m not in a wrestling-heavy location like a NY or FL, though being less than an hour from Baltimore and DC I’d think we’d have some more old school collectors than that.

These sold out at Target relatively quickly and this overstock isn’t as common throughout every Ollie’s. I was at my Ollie’s yesterday and didn’t see any those 4 packs. Besides, the Heenan Family 4 pack will never be defeated as the biggest shelf warming Mattel multipack.

I think this is a case of walmartism. I don't think these even touched target stores and these were directly shipped to Ollie's from targets distro after their run. I think the fiasco from Vince's issue with the year on the package also has something to do with it.

I was just gobsmacked to see so many at one Ollie's, and assuming that many more Ollie's also got a similar amount. I guess we win on this one. I couldn't justify spending that much on this set from Target for full price when I mainly just wanted Hogan/Green Belt, but for $29.99 at Ollie's... heck yes!

A Windham Rotunda Legacy pack I think would be cool. Do US Express with the classic WWF tags (ones that resemble the 10 lbs of gold) and one of Bray’s iconic looks they have yet to do. Maybe Muscle Man or Fiend with his giant mallet or his SvS return or possibly a deep cut like Husky Harris.

It's honestly a really neat idea. I'd argue if we didn't have a previous Rocky release it'd probably be doing quite a bit better. That said, a lot of us weren't born when High Chief wrestled and I don't think many of us need multiple Rocky Johnson figures. This maybe would have been a better concept as a 2-pack. They could just be a family theme. That way we could get Roman and Rosey, Cody and Dusty, IRS and Bray, etc. and the entire idea would have more legs.
But yeah, these are definitely going to end up at Ollies.

When I was in Las Vegas last week on vacation, I quite literally made my partner take me to a Wal-Mart on the way to seeing Hoover Dam so I could look AND when I looked, I found the Maivia Legacy 3-Pack and I was completely thrilled. I am a nerdy wrestling historian type and I have been loving what Mattel is doing by signing key legends from the 1970s. Peter Maivia, Rocky Johnson, Gorilla Monsoon as a wrestler, Mohamad Ali as he appeared on WWWF television, WWWF Champion Billy Graham... I love it all. I'm not sure the chain store atmosphere is best, though. Something like that would have probably done better through Mattel Creations. Hope this doesn't discourage Mattel from making these stars, though. I'm really wanting a Fabulous Moolah figure, for example.

If the Maivia family really wanted this set to sell, they should have adopted Muhammad Ali a long time ago 🤷
