I was able to snag one for $39 that someone stole Rocky Johnson out of. Sold Peter for like $37 so got a free Rock figure basically. I’ve seen as couple where someone stole the Rock figure instead. People are dumb.

I really like the Rock figure in there, I’m nostalgic for that outfit from so many promo pics from 1998. No interest at all in the RJ or Peter Maivia figures though. I was tempted to buy it when the tag on the shelf said $35, but that tag was for something else. When I saw the actual price, it was a definite no.

Let's say it all together: Just because something happens near/around/to you doesn't mean it's true universally.
I read about so many of you visiting a small portion of the millions of retailers and pretend that what you see I'd true for us all.

I’d buy it if it were available in Canada… Came in to post this lol. Send 'em to Canada, they'll sell.

this has always been my problem with Mattel since the beginning. I have literally only seen MNW Series 1 Hogans and nothing else from that wave. Who decided the case breakdown on that series should be such a trainwreck, but also decided that every Walmart should get 2 dozen Maivia family three packs? Collecting wrestling toys has become especially tedious and I have thrown up my hands at this point. I couldn't even tell you the last time I saw a PPV Elite series, other than Nicholas BAF (who the hell wants that?), in a store.
Distribution decisions by Mattel are mind numbing.

Yes it is... or maybe it's not. But most likely yes, or it could not be.

Is the $70 price tag "universally" high? YES Are today's kids everywhere unfamiliar with Rocky Johnson and Peter Maivia (for the most part)? YES Can these two factors negatively impact sales everywhere? YES I'm having trouble understanding how these two factors wouldn't potentially impact the "millions of retailers" in a similar fashion.

Elites are $25 at Walmart, so this pack is cheaper than 3 Elites off the shelf. Kids aren't the only ones buying toys (clearly). There are others in this very thread telling you otherwise, so if we are going to take anecdotal evidence as fact then let's at least collect all the perspectives.

Many Elites are $19.84 at the Walmarts around me. I can also see they are that price many states away from where I live. I've never seen a $25 Elite anywhere ever in my area. Three Elites are about $60, and if a younger consumer wanted to spend between $60-$70, wouldn't they be more likely to pick out three separate Elites that they actually want as opposed to three in one box (for more money) that may contain one or two figures of people they've never heard of?

It's the only WWE exclusive that's still in my Walmart.
Other than MNW Hogan. Which still not moving either. Yay for short packed BAF cases.
