I’ve been wanting to get my hands on this guy for a while, and my local toy shop has him MOC for a fair price. However, his cummerbund is warped and looks terrible.
Is the cummerbund removable without cutting it? Is there a clasp in back or something? I tried looking up unboxing videos but results are inconclusive.

Can't answer your specific questions but just FYI my Legends 21 Jimmy Hart's cummerbund was pretty loose and warped looking out of the sealed package. I think it's just the nature of the thing being a loose fitting piece that's not actually molded to the body.

Jimmy Hart is one of the Legends I want to have in my collection, but have never liked that he’s roughly as tall as the wrestlers (I know, they use one suit mold, at least in the early years). If they were to re-do a classic version with smaller height, golden era look, I’d be interested, Legends line or Coliseum Collection.
… same goes for Bobby Heenan (as a MOC collector, the “weasel suit” is not the look I want to represent him).

Yeah Jimmy is tall....anytime I take pics of him with the teams he managed? I have him standing on something behind them...LOL

Years ago I did the lower leg swap on the first jimmy hart figure. It’s way better for scale

I’m 99% sure it’s a solid piece and you can just spin it around so the warped part is on his back and thus hidden by the jacket.

Agreed. In some jakks figures heenan is taller than the undertaker lol

Unfortunately, it's very warped. It's pushing the front of the jacket out so I'm thinking it'll do the same to the back. If he was cheaper I'd just deal with it and do that.

Theres a small trick you can do to shorten jimmy and any other suited figures if you dont mind losing a bit of articulation.
What ive done in the past is pull the shoes completely out of the leg. Ball joints and all and then glue the shoes inside the pant legs.
It shrinks him enough to make a difference and costs only the price for the glue

And this really brings the height down noticeably?

Mean gene etc If you have a dremel then you can dremel the inside of the pant leg out and dremel the cuff of the pants back a bit to shorten him even more. It makea a good difference to me. Jimmy always looked very short next to the guys he managed
