Hey, welcome back!
I'm really excited about the lighter skintone Faarooq figures. The fact that they did his '98 post-Nation gear as a variant is so awesome. I just learned recently that he had yet another attire around this time with a different pattern (Shotgun Saturday Night), but I'm glad they went with this one.
Hulk's cool, love that later period bandana & shirt, but I'm a bit Hulk'd out at the moment. I would've swapped this one with the Hogan 3-pack one, personally. But it's nice to get a more standard Hulk in red/yellow trunks/pads for Legends. I believe that's his '92 era?
Jim Neidhart in New Foundation gear is definitely a surprise! Hopefully the soft goods get a little less baggy by release. Hey, we can put this on our AEW Owen Hart figures to at least get something WWF related for him. Here's hoping the next Anvil is a proper '97 Hart Foundation one with the black attire.
Kurt Angle, back as an Elite at last. It was rumored to be in the brief Best of the Attitude Era line but they canceled it and lost Kurt's rights for awhile. That figure was online for awhile, and if this is exactly the same, it has the dreaded jacked-to-the-gills Ryback singlet under the shirt. At least it looks pretty good with the shirt on.

I think the trousers shouldn’t have been cloth on the Neidhart. But I’ve wanted this fig for years and beggars can’t be choosers.

These will all be purchases for me. I wonder if Anvil will be a 2 in 1 figure with a molded Hart Foundation attire under the soft goods?

This Anvil RULES. Mattel is really good at one off gimmicks so I’m thinking a masked head could come with this for Who. Updated Farooq is a must! Kurt is great, I’m still waiting for a 03/04 ruthless Angle though. This might be the first Hulk I pass on.

Probably only Hulk for me, but they all look good!

Just the Farooq variant for me. I hope I can find it.

I’ll definitely get Farooq. I don’t really understand what the difference is for the chase.
The Anvil is a probably not..but I’ll have to see some in hand before I can completely rule it out.

Definitely getting Hogan
Angle looks great, but I may have to pass as there are far too many new figures for me to buy!

I'll get Farooq if the head sculpt looks decent. I don't think Mattel has done a good job with Ron Simmons' likeness thus far.

These will all be purchases for me. I wonder if Anvil will be a 2 in 1 figure with a molded Hart Foundation attire under the soft goods? Probably not. Anvil didn't wear a top with the new foundation attire, so if you remove the jacket, you would see the Hart Foundation tank top painted on the torso with the New Foundation tights on underneath. That wouldn't look right. This Anvil RULES. Mattel is really good at one off gimmicks so I’m thinking a masked head could come with this for Who. Updated Farooq is a must! Kurt is great, I’m still waiting for a 03/04 ruthless Angle though. This might be the first Hulk I pass on. That could work and would be a nice touch. They would just need to add an extra masked head, and paint on some yellow tights.

Farooq & Angle for me. I knew an updated NOD Farooq would be soon. Great stuff. I genuinely dont see the point in the New Foundation Anvil when we are NEVER going to get his tag partner.
WM8 Hogan is a pass too. Only require a BATB 94/95 face Hogan now and even at that I can kitbash one with what I have.

I didn't see a close up of the figure, but it looked like the same head sculpt as the original. As for the Anvil figure, he did wear that attire as a solo wrestler from around May/June of 1991 till the end of the year before he teamed up with Owen as the New Foundation. His biggest match in that attire was in October or November of 1991, he faced Ric Flair on either Wrestling Challenge or Superstars.

I think the only one I would of picked up was Kurt. The cheaply painted on roid legs without the lack of biker shorts sculpting is enough to deter me away. It probably also has the shredded torso too.

That Hogan looks fantastic.
AE Kurt Angle really needs a new headscan. I just do not like that goofy smiling one with the giant chin. Its been improved since the first time they released it but it still just doesn't do it for me.

He actually wrestled singles in that attire, worked commentary with Heenan and Monsoon and he was going to be in survivor series before his injury angle before Owen came in. He wrestled Flair’s debut match in that gear… Plus since the gear is all removable, I wonder if you could paint the coat green, and the pants purple and put it on a Jazzwares Owen?

Anvil was actually wearing that gear as a commentator, too. He wasn't wrestling for a few months after the Hart Foundation went their separate ways after WrestleMania VII.

Yup he did but its undoubtedly best known as his NF attire, so to me? its pointless. I'm sure Anvil fans will have a blast with it but as a teams collector to me its a weird choice. EDIT: less so now that Who is potentially included.

Definitely getting a swappable head with Anvil, based on Steve latest Instagram post. Specifically capitalizing WHO in the video. Wonder if it concludes swappable boots.

Hogan looks good but Mattel is really killing it for me with the Velcro in the front of the shirts and that horrible weight belt design….*sigh* I guess they’ll never change it 🙄
