My target went from stocking unmatched 8 a few times which was very welcomed to putting out a case of unrivaled 8 last week just when I thought that store was headed in the right direction smh

Marvel Legends and GI Joe have some of the best distribution in the game. And along with Star Wars are the most overpriced lines out there. $27 and change after tax per has made me start being very selective on which ML, Joes and SW figures I buy now. Which is probably why you can find them more readily. lol

The major retailers in the UK don't stock any AEW anymore, so it is online only through independent shops for us. It's a shame really as I used to enjoy picking up stuff on sale in Smyths. For the large part, we are miles behind the US and elsewhere now. The Unmatched (I think) wave with Danielson and Omega in the street clothes never really hit here. Some websites have had minor stock of a few of them come in this week, but that's about it. Also, the Vault being US only really sucks. I wouldn't be heartbroken if Jazwares lost the licence. They've made some great figures, particularly in the Supreme line, but there's just so much about the way they've gone about it that I don't understand. The chases and rares, some of the attire choices, the distribution, the lack of communication, the inconsistent release schedules, the staining issues/unwillingness to leave soft goods off in the package, the changing of the lineups, etc. I could go on. I really hope they turn it around, but I have very little faith at this point. I wouldn't be heartbroken if Jazwares lost the license but I would be heartbroken if the license ended up not being picked up by anyone else, which could very well end up being the case after seeing how this line has spiraled out of control in the current state that its in. While Jazwares has done a less than stellar job with the line in a lot of aspects, its still better to get SOME AEW figures produced instead of none

So long as theyre willing to pay the additional shipping costs that are to be expected with any international order, why wouldn't you want to sell to them? Talk about leaving money on the table while simultaneously turning off a significant portion of your customers

Who could/would take on the license if it became available?
I'm fine with AEW Figures becoming an online exclusive line. I don't enjoy hunting for figures, especially when there are no figures to hunt. I just want to buy what I want.

Honestly, I agree with the people who have said this line has spiraled. So many of the figures warm, even online, Most stores have stopped even trying to carry them and yeah, even if Jazwares stopped making them, nobody would even sniff in the direction of AEW as a license with as poorly as AEW is doing right now.
I hate everything about this. Legit sitting around waiting for another Panama City moment at this point. I wonder if Shane's quad has healed enough for him to appear on Dynamite?

I don't enjoy hunting for figures, especially when there are no figures to hunt. I just want to buy what I want. At this point, their best bet would be a boutique company like STORM or Super7. Places that make expensive, specialty figures, in low amounts. Otherwise no mass toy maker would touch them with a 10 foot pole after looking at their sales numbers for this line, and the AEW brand itself just isn't desirable mainstream.

I'd be quite happy with Jada Toys. Their street fighter line is great. The articulation and accessories you get are really impressive for a £25 figure.

SO.... my local target keeps somewhat current with the line. there is a Jake Hager and a Lance Archer that have been there for years at this point. i was recently able to score a Buddy Murphy and a Brody King on different visits; i saw the ROH Punk on pegs but i have one already.
Wal Marts all over the region are absolute TRASH for AEW. i travel for work and i have been all the way down to Texas up to Michigan and everywhere in between those states and all i ever see are endless amounts of Santana, Ortiz, Tay Conti, Brian Cage, Chuck Taylor, Cash, Wheeler, Jericho excl. Kingston excl., MJF. i even see Nyla Rose, Shida and a few RIHO figures floating around. there is one wal mart by me that all AEW pegs are overflowing with said figures and there are three towers of stacked figures on the top shelf----NONE are moving.
i was legit excited to hear there was a 'buy back' or 'return of old stock' in the works, but i have not seen ANY evidence of this across any store in my travels over the past year.
