Great posts; I had a few Jakks playsets that I got rid of due to space limitations, kind of wish I had kept them. I have the RAW stage, I enjoy using it for photos......
Wish I had the "gym" and backstage set, I forget - how and where was that available?

Yeah absolutely agreed. Playsets are awesome - backstage, entrance stages etc. They don't all have to be super expensive collector only crowdfund items.

I miss accurate figures.
A realistic backstage interview area is something I'd like, real curtain for the backdrop rather than plastic.

We could have gotten the WcW stage to add to that collection... but we know what happened there ๐

Think part of the problem is cost in today market. When the line started and was only 3-4 years in those sets werenโt terribly expensive $50-$80 I believe. Now, Iโd imagine bottom line would be a minimum of $80 for the smallest ones.
That, combined with the abysmal retail presence Walmart gives most exclusive items from Mattel - a doomed project.

I am hoping BAF sets are possible in the MNW line or even the PPV lines instead of just figures. Gimme the Nitro announce stage, Raw backstage interview fence, Pipers Pit, etc

Is there still a market for that Kmart Raw Superstar Entrance Stage? I have a sealed one I'd like to unload and I don't know if it's worth the trouble of hauling it to toy shows or if I should just customize it into something else.

Crazy thing to me is, the obvious demand for sets like these. Look at how many people go to places like Extreme Sets to buy backstage backdrops and accessories. And those things are not cheap.
Now imagine you can probably double (or more) that number by making an actual WWE-Mattel licensed playset/backdrop and have it be marketable by the machine and on-shelves alongside the rest of the toys.

We could have gotten the WcW stage to add to that collection... but we know what happened there ๐ A nitro set, the size of the last 2 entrance stages should've sufficed. Even though I did back it, most of us didnt want something that took up half a room.

Eff Tee Sea was trying to sell their version of it using what I believe is the same mold for over $100 so I think there may be some interest. Especially since Mattel is officially out of the entrance stage business outside of the smaller scale Wrekkin ones.

With the death of Toys R Us it meant sadly the death of playsets since nobody else wants to take a chance on them

I know the WWE Superstars girls line was reviled but this is a great playset if your repurposed it for the figures.

Does anyone miss Entrance Greats? Those stands that played theme music were pretty cool.

Does anyone miss Entrance Greats? Those stands that played theme music were pretty cool. Nope, hated that line. They were over-priced basics, with baggy soft goods clothes. I did not like that line at all.
