I've been seeing reviews for Ultimate figures lately. I finally had an Ultimate Kane in hand and looked and felt so good. So seeing reviews for other Ultimates, whenever I get to the "comparison" part of their reviews. It seems like Ultimates are taller than Elite versions; even if its the same wrestler and attire.
What do you think?

It's the torsos that cause ultimates to be taller. They use the same legs as elites.

I think we had this topic like a month ago where people couldn't decide. I think they're both in a similar scale with notable differences being with neck pegs. For whatever reason Mattel changes the neck pegs when it comes to different scans. Some of the scaling is off at times, but for the most part they work coherently. I'm still mad about Rick Steiner being taller than both UE Warrior and elite RVD.
RANDOM QUESTION
Do we have a thread here with part inventory? I'm curious to know how many different arm molds exist in the current double jointed arm era. I felt like we had way more molds prior.

They're actually more proportionate imo. Mattel has a fascination with tall legs which makes many elites look weird.

Ultimates are taller than Elites. We're they always meant to be taller? I saw that Cody and Brock Ultimates were taller than thier Elites. Which ones are really off scale then?

I'm curious to know how many different arm molds exist in the current double jointed arm era. I felt like we had way more molds prior. There's definitely more regular jointed arm molds than there are double jointed ones, but I'd chalk that up mostly to the fact that we're still barely like a year or two into the double jointed era. New molds cost significantly more money for Mattel to make than just reusing existing ones, and there's a set budget for each line annually so Mattel's Design Team can't really afford to put all of their team's budget into pumping out new double jointed arm molds when they still have to set aside some of the funds for other tooling and expenses for the figures. I expect them to slowly but surely give us more unique double jointed arm molds in the coming years, just as we got with the regular arm molds as when the WWE Mattel line grew over time from when it first started.

Thank you for the pics. It really shows the differences in height. Also which one to consider if I decide and get those Ultimate.
