Hi everyone, Do we know if Smyths UK is getting the MNW Ultimates or is it just the elites? Thanks 🙂

Smyths haven't sold any ultimate editions since series 3 so this isn't going to be any different.

I’m sure I heard that they’re getting these. Although only elites on their site so far. Maybe Action Figure Attack can help with this?

AFA mentioned on his IG post that the MNW elites are exclusive to Walmart and Smyths whereas the Ultimates are only exclusive to Walmart. Don't hold hope unfortunately!

Not to hijack the topic but I'd love to know if Walmart Canada oicked up the MNW line. I asked Steve this in the Q&A thread but my question got skipped over/ignored.
Walmart Canada doesn't typically carry UE figures for whatever reason so I guess Canadians are screwed for those, but I hope at the very least that the elites will be carried.
These days, Walmart exclusive means US Walmart exclusive. I think Mattel should really pick their wording a lot more carefully there. They talk like it's inclusive of all wrestling figure fans but its not.

Bruh, we don't even know if Walmart will actually get these figures on their shelves, much less Smyths. Good luck, lol, etc. Har har har.

If Smyths made them online only, I reckon that could work.

People think Smyths is a british chain but it isnt...its Irish and subject to VAT laws in the EU. this is why they are so expensive. Like...they were charging 33 Euro for PPV figures with BAF parts.....

I collect Ultimates only and it's costing me what must be close to that getting them shipped from the States (I've not done the maths) but I guess to the average consumer, it's alot of money to walk in a Smyths and pay that for one figure.

Rumour is after just a couple of recent sets, Legends sets will be no more in the U.K. really disappointing but hardly surprising when they’re between £28-35 a figure depending on where you look. People won’t buy at that price.
Steve said somewhere recently it’s the stores that set the prices but Smyths had legends at £28.99 but are now listing MNW due in March at £19.99 - not sure the reasoning and whether Legends are more expensive to get in (?) but hopefully the MNW set does well at the £19.99 price point and they can at least carry those moving forward.
In terms of Ultimates, it would be great but I suspect they can’t get them in at a sensible price point. Nobody will pay £40-45 per figure.

It’s disappointing the line won’t continue but the prices for the legends figures is too much. The new Ultimate Warrior Ultimate is £50 on the sites that are getting it in.
