Howdy guys. I bought a main event ring (smackdown with jinder) from eBay in seemingly great condition but after putting it together I’ve noticed it doesn’t sit flush to the ground. I’m not sure if I’ve put it together wrong or if the ring isn’t flat by design?
It’s hard to explain but feels like the corners don’t sit flush to the floor. The middle definitely is though, is this because of the big box for the lights?

sounds like the plastic may be warped

Sounds a lot like my New Gen Ultimate ring. The supports under the ring are on the ground but each of the 4 corners are off the ground by a millimetre or two. I only notice this because I have the ring on top of a TV cabinet at eye level. I think it's just the tension of the ropes pulling the posts inwards slightly.

It’s plastic. It may have warped. A lot of my rings are like that and I got like 10 non-basic rings. I don’t know if my Main Event rings didn’t sit flush because I combined two halves from different rings to completely remove the LED functionality so I could push the ringposts higher up.

I suggested this in another thread, but they really should have put plastic bracers on the bottom of the posts for balance. They could have an "X" pulling the opposite corners together at the base. Right now, all of the tension is at the top, which makes the ring posts bow inwards. Bad engineering decision, IMO.
