I love Taka, and I've been hoping he'd get the retro treatment for a long time. KWK getting him is...mehhh, for me, anyway. Hopefully he does a good job and it's available for UK buyers. |

Man my memory is poor sometimes! Taka was announced long ago. This apparently is just Shawn KWK promoting Taka in a talent agent type of role for bookings. Disregard my post.

KWK has been showing off Mantaur shipping from the factory and arriving. I don't think he even realizes that the figures loaded into a single passenger van is not nearly the flex he thinks it is. It looks like under 100 pieces total based on the figure quantity on the case and how many cases were visible in the not even close to full DHL van

I don’t think it is necessarily a flex so much as it is documentation and transparency. For all his faults early on, Shawn has gone above and beyond to share his experience while getting these figures made. Sometimes it’s been a bit much or not really anything that matters to most of us but I appreciate the inside look. It’s is helping to build some of that trust back that he destroyed early on.

He posted a video today that something went wrong with them during finishing. Sounds like the variants got swapped so they’re on the wrong cards and something about the tape around the plastic bubble. Not sure why he had them sent directly to Asylum before seeing a finished product but it goes to show how difficult the process is. Shawn is in China and speaks the language and stuff still gets messed up, imagine what it’s like for Mitch or Epic etc.

wish he'd just get stuff delivered rather than teasing things over a year out. no one has anything from him yet. as far as I know, my Max Moon hasn't even gone into production yet

I ordered a Max Moon on 10/10/23 that as far as I know, hasn't even started production. That was 7 months ago. |

He looks a bit short. People have pointed out before that Hasbros scale was all over the place which is true. So if we want to be technical, Mantaur was 6’0, Booger was 6’1, and One Man Gang was 6’9 (all according to Wikipedia). Other than that, the figure looks pretty good from those pics. How does he feel in hand? Does it move and stand well?

The "Bullhead" fits nicely (i was worried, this would be another Haku/Crown situation) and the figure moves and stands perfectly |
