As an Evil Dead fan, I gotta say that this figure looks pretty cool. Once again, the arms are way too long, though.

Not much of an Evil Dead fan but that looks great!

Passed on Ash. I love ED & AoD and have many figs from those movies in my collection but can justify spending nearly $50 for Hasbro inspired version of the character.

Love the Evil Dead franchise and Ash and the Pit Witch look great, but you should have just done a two pack here. Pit Witch is a harder sell.

He said there would be others in series 2 as well (I guess Ash and potential repaints will count as series 1 maybe?). No real opinion on this new figure as I’m not the target audience for it. It looks nicely detailed.
It has been so long since I’ve seen the movie that I tried to find what the significance was. Is it just that one brief scene in Army of Darkness or does Pit Witch show up in other things (movies, tv, games, etc.)? Even if it’s a small character, I’m not hating on that in the least. That’s what I love about the Star Wars universe and kind of what we are seeing with wrestling now. I do wish these figures would be in Hasbro poses as that would actually tempt me to buy them. For example: *sigh* Rush’s Frankenstein has a gorilla press pose and Nosferatu looks like a jumper. Had Ash been doing a punch or a suplex or something along those lines, I likely would have bought it.

Came across a better look at Sparky Plugg. Btw, if you like the ZST style retros, give this page a follow as they always have the best/cleanest looks at the figures in various stages. http://instagram.com/p/DBbn-1ZRK5B The boots look better (first photos were poorly angled). I think posing him in the suplex position would have helped with the initial impression. I think my only gripes now are the hair and the mouth. The hair is probably very challenging to pull off as his hair was thinning faster than his race car. But the bangs they gave him feel entirely wrong. Then the half-smile/grimace he has could be improved if they had made it straight. That’s how Bob looked then and that’s how he looks now. His teeth were remarkably as even as they were present.

I think the feet still look way too big no matter the angle. Too long and also too thick. Hopefully his wrist tape and elbow pad are added before final release.

Chainsaw hand, metal hand, S-Mart, post apocalyptic alternate ending, and evil Ash.

I like the army of darkness figures but unfortunately they won’t be available in the UK.

Last update on his page was August 26. Coming up on 2 1/2 months. Still says Candido and Busick are due late Sept/early Oct. I wish he took his business as seriously as he does jacking it to Kevin Costner.

ZST was teasing a mystery figure for this weekend that was was in hand. Apparently it is some convention where it will be sold and then later available come Black Friday.

Despite the fact it will take 12mths to get, a Black Friday Hakushi / Jinsei Shinzaki would be fantastic! I can only imagine how much effort and precision Zombie's team will put into the intricate writing/symbols on the chest/torso! Decapitated Bret Hart head mould as a Pre-Order bonus (jks)?

I'm personally hoping that Shinsake gets a figure from another retro company, as the ZST version doesn't quite do it for me in terms of the pose. A Shinsake Galoob would be fantastic, but I'm not sure if that's ever gonna happen. If ZST's is the only version, then maybe I'll bite, but overall I'm not too impressed with his execution of a much wanted figure.

I wish he took his business as seriously as he does jacking it to Kevin Costner. Take his business seriously? Really This dude has signed who knows how many people to contracts, hustled while Punk was free and got rights to do something with him. Has been working on a 6”-7” line that looks better than Mattel and PowerTown. Signed up to do licensed AOD figures, etc This has not changed since the beginning. If you don’t like the wait. Quit preordering 100% of his stuff has been available after receiving stock. You don’t think he wants this stuff to come in earlier? If nothing else to not have to hear people constantly whining. He may be a huge bunghole, or make a design choice that’s questionable here or there, but to say he doesn’t take his business seriously is just crazy

I would love some soft goods with him too. I would say give him his hat but we all know what a crapjob ZST does with hats. I would love to see what Epic could do with him though, a Hayabusa/Hakushi double deluxe would be great.
