Bonus research: I found the photo for sale on a popular auction website: THIS AUCTION IS FOR AN ORIGINAL VINTAGE COLOR SLIDE OF WRESTLING SUPERSTAR MIKE AWESOME POSED BACKSTAGE IN CHICAGO WITH HIS NEWLY WON ECW TITLE. THIS PHOTO WAS USED IN THE UK's POWERSLAM MAGAZINE. I WAS THE LONGEST TENURED PHOTOGRAPHER FOR THE MAGAZINE. I WORKED FOR THE MAGAZINE FOR OVER 20 YEARS. POWERSLAM WAS THE LONGEST RUNNING WRESTLING MAGAZINE IN THE UK. THIS SLIDE HAS THE ORIGINAL MARKINGS ON THE SLIDE BY THE EDITOR OF POWERSLAM FINDLAY MARTIN. POWERSLAM WENT OUT OF BUSINESS A FEW YEARS AGO AFTER 238 ISSUES AND IT TOOK FINDLAY ALMOST A YEAR TO RETURN ALL MY ORIGINAL SLIDES AND PRINTS. I ALSO HAVE ORIGINAL TYPE 1 PHOTOS THAT WERE USED IN THE MAGAZINE ALSO AVAILABLE FOR SALE. MESSAGE ME WITH ANY REQUESTS. Ninety-nine percent of images being sold on eBay these days are done in workshops and at home. These images carry very little value. INVEST in PSA-graded TYPE 1 photographs of your favorite stars! Majority of these photos are one-of-a-kind items that came from magazine and newspaper archives. Once sold, that's it, you're probably not going to see them again! To learn more about PSA's photo authentication process, please visit the link below: www.psacard.com/services/photoprocess PLEASE ADD $4.00 FOR SHIPPING AND HANDLING TO THE UNITED STATES, HIGHER RATES ELSEWHERE. THANKS FOR LOOKING. Wow, thats basically 1:1 with the original photo. No doubt that was digitally traced but, im wondering if they simply put one of those filters over the photo that makes it look like its painted & then touched it up to alter the belt. Wasn't able to find the original photo the Flair image is based on but, i know for sure I've seen it before. I guess that's one way to get around using photos. I assumed they bought the rights to the photo or got permission from the photographer. Regardless, it looks like a very basic filter with minimal edits. I only took an interest in it because I wanted to know what belt he was holding in the original photo. Wasn’t sure if it was from Japan, an independent promotion, etc. Didn’t think it was the actual ECW belt. I wasn’t trying to bury ZST over it…I just thought fellow figure nerds would find it interesting to see the original source. Speaking of, I couldn’t find a 1:1 of the Flair photo. There are many, many similar ones out there but no exact ones.

Why do people feel the need to stick their noses in business that is none of their concern? Just hateful, malicious never dids and never coulds that have to ruin things for everyone else.

How will the port strike impact ZST and all other fig companies?

How will the port strike impact ZST and all other fig companies? Even if it doesn’t he’ll probably use it as an excuse.

Candido and Big Bully expected to ship to customers by Friday 10/11 at the absolute latest. Where did you hear this ? His Website says late/september -early/October which is an updated ETA from the original. Based on his “early, mid, late” and October having 31 days early would be 10/1-10/11 which is Friday. Being only 5 days away I’m sure ZST would have updated his eta if he knew they wouldn’t be here.

why does Abdullah look like he can hug the entire wave, and all of Series 3 at the same time?

why does Abdullah look like he can hug the entire wave, and all of Series 3 at the same time? I believe it is one of the more serious, yet less discussed symptoms of Hepatitis C.

New 1/800 NYCC Matt Cardona figure. It appears to be a repaint from the 2 pack but isn’t a bad deal if you like this particular look/didn’t want everything in the 2 pack. The white and purple really pops. I would be down to see some retro maker do a “white card series” in the future. http://instagram.com/p/DA3mGoKx4BN

The Cardona/Gage 2 pack is great, so I don’t need this one but it’s a good figure. I had been thinking, if they didn’t take 2+ years, a Cardona in ring gear with that shirt torso would have been cool to do.
