I just like how all of the promo images for Bad News have him with his arms folded, and clenching his fist etc
and ZST went with the straightest of arms possible!! dude wasn't even in the NOD, but he's got the most committed NOD salute going in the figure world!

He did do the raised fist pose from time to time, if that helps.

What "punching pose"? I guess he just means he has a closed fist? When I hear "punching pose", I think of a body type like Virgil/Jake etc. With the straight right arm. If you look at the second picture in the attached Instagram post, he has him posed with his arm stretched out that mimics the Jake/Virgil pullback punch action look. That at least helps, but the tiny legs look bad. It's kind of okay with some of the other figures because their legs are bent a bit, but for Bad News, his legs are straight, which makes them look even more ridiculous.

I can’t help thinking it’s the oversized traps that are the main problem. The straight arm with fist works for me - he was using the NoD salute regularly before they did!

Bad news did kind of have a strange shaped body, let’s face it, he wasn’t the most athletic looking and certainly skipped leg day, so I don’t mind at all - if anything, generous with the abs 😅
I like that this has a Hasbro style pose, sort of, with the punch.

There's strange shape-- and there is completely out of proportion compared to the actual human being. Zombie's figure is the later - look at the prototype and then the trading card. No honest observer would say it doesn't look very off.

I think Bad News looks pretty good. Not sure whats up with the intensive nitpicking going on.

The torso and arms look too long to me. The pose is redundant at this point but I actually don’t mind it for BNB. Otherwise I’m happy enough with it. I will absolutely be buying it despite the things I would have liked to have seen improved upon.

Here's the Ric Flair figure from the next wave. The proportions are much better on this one. I wish he came with a non-bloodied head as well.

They seem just as bad to me but whatever. I’m sure there will be a normal Flair announced by the end of the year and a robed one at some point too. I’ll probably get one of those once they are released or on a secondary sale. Not gonna hate on the the bloody figure too much…the card art is another story. It looks awful to me: http://instagram.com/p/C_0hU9nOt65

Flair art looks bad and is clearly not from Mania 8 that the figure is based on. That said, I love it and the Bad News. They aren’t perfect but close enough

With Xmas fast approaching 3 outstanding figures CC, BBB, CMP are all expected to arrive in October, unfortunately all 3 were made to order with NO extras available.
The Black Friday sale with mirror the Labor Day sale in addition to Series 4 preorder being “reopened” due to popular demand. Honestly if ZST wants to have holiday IMPACT with the stock he has it’ll have to be with much LOWER prices…like 50%off otherwise his collectors already have S1-3 and the one offs.

Series 1-2 and all the one offs have been preorders. The goal was to have instock offerings at the time of release with S3, this was advertised and almost obtained with a bait and switch of p&g. Now Series 4 is back to the preorder model.
Again, I’m implore ZST to be straight with people. “Dear H&F collectors, I have signed great characters and will get figures made, it will take 16months and your money upfront. Please join our community as we fill those holes in your retro collection!”
That quote would drive his stock through the roof both personally and professionally.

They aren’t perfect but close enough Yeah, Im pretty sure this Flair image is based on an 80s Flair pic from a magazine cover. Thats why I like it though, those old magazine covers with wrestlers bleeding were quite gritty lol. Not used to seeing that anymore.

Couldn’t find a matching image but there are numerous that are close enough. My issue with it is that it doesn’t match the era that it is trying to portray, there are many better photos to base it off of, his hair looks awful/doesn’t work well with the art style, and they chose to go with something that makes his facial expression look nearly as old as modern day Ric.

Yikes that Ric Flair looks more like Sean Penn 😂😂
To be fair, really cool idea for a figure.
