Nice figs. The signature thing sucks though for uniformity purposes as a MOC collector.

I can't believe I of all people am saying this, but I listened to the entire Sam Roberts podcast, and my impression of Zombie improved.
He was honest -- saying they only sold 1,000 of the Gage/Cardona two-pack, for example.
He was more upfront about delays -- not defensive, but just explaining why they are that long, and that's how he does business (and then people can choose to buy from him or not).
He was honest about the statue issue -- and said he's happy to lean into that.
In general, he came off as a more decent human being than any other interview and his social media posts/content.
I wish he'd be this version of himself, instead of always trying to hype and promote.

Missed the BBB sale amd it is already sold out. Damn the vacation! Now I have to wait for it becoming available again which will eventually happen.

I wish he'd be this version of himself, instead of always trying to hype and promote. and therein lies the problem, he thinks his own social media presence is more important than his product
it's like he views himself as a character, and tries too hard to put that angle, rather than just being a guy who wants to make some toys (which is all everyone else sees him as) and he wants to sell them to you
my interactions with him on social media have always given me the impression that he sees it as a self-promotion tool, and his product line comes second which isn't the case - the product IS all that people are looking for. if he ditched the persona, and actually just hired a social media manager to handle all of his IG (including customer responses) then he would probably gain a much better reputation all round and maybe win back some of the people he's driven away

I don’t know why people keep expecting him to change or act differently? We know his game, just get the figures and move on

I think that's the problem with a lot of wrestling fans. Always trying to get themselves over at the wrestlers' expense. Signs, outfits, 'gimmicks'...it's all pretty foolish.

The gimmicks I will give you is foolish. I always thought it was fun when fans would dress up like wrestlers at shows, and going to wrestling shows in the late 90s with signs was great. If you were watching Raw is War during a Truth Commission/Los Boricuas/DoA match you could just look in the crowd to find any interesting signs to kill the time(assuming there was a commercial break for Nitro).

A much needed WWF 80s tag team hole was filled today! I don't care much for his carny-promos of how scarce these figures are, or will be. I think he has a good product, not quite Hasbros, but a quality product none-the-less. With that said, I'll probably only get Abdullah the Butcher in his next series, and that's only when it comes in-stock, because you know these aren't going to sell out. Anyway, Power & Glory and Slickster are great figures! The t-shirts are nice and stretchy, Slick's suit is immaculate. About the only thing missing was Herc's chain, which I rectified right away.

Great pics. These may be my favorite Zombie Sailor figures released. They have Hasbro-styled action poses and the shirts are a nice touch. Never even thought about Herc missing his chain, that should have been added. What is the chain from that you used, it looks good with the figure? I did the same thing, pair the blue suit Slick with these guys. The blue suit really pops next to the black and white Power & Glory gear. What is the 80s tag team hole that was filled today?

Hey there, the "hole" would be Power & Glory - late 80s WWF tag team. As for the chain, I got it from Michaels or any crafts store in the jewelry section. I can't remember the specs though, either 0.4 or 0.7mm

BTW, on the Roberts podcast, he said that the Cardona/Gage two-pack and the Candido (which looks *Fantastic*) would be shipping before he left for vacation this weekend -- but I only see Power and Glory.
Did he end up with another delay?

Did he end up with another delay? I think you got that a little mixed up (understandably so). He meant Series 3, Cardona/Gage, and Bruce Lee. BBB and Candido will be late August or maybe September from what I remember.
