I don't even get why ZST still uses Rudat, the Hasbro link has long gone, and Rudat wasn't even "famous" at the time for drawing the Hasbros, no-one knew (or cared) who drew the concept art for toys, and I've said before that Rudat wasn't even interested in the WWF line, his passion was GI Joe which he effectively created, so why ZST keeps the pretence that Rudat's artwork is somehow relevant is beyond me

no-one is buying a Mattel figure because Steve or Bill are working on the series, they're buying the figures because they want the figure itself, who drew it is irrelevant to most collectors (except if you're Rush or anyone associated with them. then it's EXTREMELY relevant so you know to avoid!)

don't bother preordering anything, there's going to be plenty of stock leftover from the initial tranche

he's not even sold out of Series 1 figures yet, Series 3 and 4 will be "available" for many years to come

Companies don’t stop selling stock after 10 days so that they can catch up on fulfillment. They would just put a note saying please allow 7-10 days to ship due to increased demand on our staff. Something is going on.

he's always unable to meet his own deadlines, and every time gets a pass from the community

other manufacturers get abuse for this kind of thing (and rightly so) but he's always exempt for some reason

I would have to echo the sentiment that Rudat's contribution is a bit pointless. Since it seems like the sculptor is doing the heavy lifting anyway.
Wouldn't surprise me if this was more of a sweetheart deal, zombie's way of saying thank you to Rudat for his involvement/hard work with the original Hasbro line. Nothing wrong with that...though, to be honest, I've benefited from those kinds of deals myself so, I'm probably biased lol.

I think this has been well established and I cannot imagine ZS will go back to trying to emulate another toy line. I am glad they are getting away from that, I just wish he would fix the scale. It has been said so many times but needs to be repeated. Why are Sandman's arms longer than his legs. Why is his head about the same size as his torso? This is basically a 6" figures body stuck on a 4.5" figures legs.

Hostile City Showdown 95 attire makes it must buy for me. I would normally pass here and wait for the other version but I don’t mind having two of Sandman in this instance, especially if this one will be a little cheaper than normal.

Can’t wait until I can look at the shelf and we’ll have Raven, Sandman, Sabu, Candido, Tajiri, 2 Cold, Awesome, Tanaka, Roadkill, Franchise and Francine. Dream stuff for me. Hopefully he can knock out some other guys who should have gotten OSFTM figures like Spike, Mikey and Doring soon too. Plus that doesn’t get into really obvious needs like Jerry Lynn, Impact Players, Dreamer, and Rhino.

Tomorrow is 2 weeks since series 3 went up so P&G should be shipping per the website.

July 4th, 2023 ZST had a meltdown on instagram about it being a holiday and we will get our “plastic” when we get it.

Yeah, easy pass for me, not doing ECW plus looks nothing like a Hasbro anyway. Think the advertised delivery is Dec/Jan something like that. So maybe in reality you'll be lucky to have it in hand by 4th of July of next year?
