Not that it really works this way but if you add up all 3 series along with all of the other special releases and repaints, he will have averaged roughly one figure per month. Silly statistic because that’s not how they are released. It just makes me wish he actually split figures up instead of doing them in series. I don't think it's silly *if* you take out the repaints (and special releases that are repaints, which is almost all). What's the statistic then over 3 years?
I believe that puts him at 22 original figures if you include series 3. I excluded one Andre as the only significant difference was the head.

Despite his questionable promotion tactics, prickly nature with customers and apparent rough understanding of production, shipping and delivery lead times, ZST has produced quite an impressive looking run of Retro style figures there! To me, you can really see the difference and upgrade in intricate detail (especially in the faces) from Series 1 to everything else. Everyone will have their own opinion as to whether these are like Hasbros at all, the evolution of what Hasbros would have become had they continued to the modern day, or a line inspired from, but completely different than Hasbros, but to me the Heels And Faces output stands head and shoulders above what the original Chella leadership, Hasttel or RUSH produce/had produced. Each to their own, but with Epic having significantly lifted their game with the recent ownership change, I think it's a two horse race in this Retro space at the moment, and simply a preference to what you prefer the look of, or prefer the talent signed. Can't wait to see where the line goes in a couple of years time....Series 5 hopefully!

For me, at this point in terms of whats coming through and upcoming, it's easily Epic then Mitch then Zombie. I feel you'd have to really stretch to pretend you're blown away and all hail king zombie once he releases 2 guys in suits and a lower card tag team we've been looking at for 3 years. It'll happen though, just watch.

I think % wise Zombie currently has the best hit rate but Epic certainly improving and hopefully Mitch will too, some encouraging signs from him at least.
In terms of Hasbro likeness, it’s all subjective, I think some of Mitches will sit very well alongside and out of Zombie’s I’ve personally put Jarrett, Bundy, Booger and Bravo in amongst the Hasbros just to see and they’re perfect. So I get that not all of them do but those guys and probably Gang (although I’ve not sat him amongst the Hasbros yet) are seamless, you wouldn’t pick them out looking at the whole collection, at all.
I actually think whilst they’re improving and I appreciate the newer Epic stuff (looking forward to Bobby) these are the least like Hasbro…well apart from Mattel, they’re bottom by a long way.

Interesting e-mail for series 3’s sale next week
“ THIS IS LIKE NO RELEASE WE HAVE DONE THUS FAR, AS THIS IS NO PRE-ORDER! THESE FIGURES WILL SHIP FAST AS WE HAVE MOST OF THEM IN OUR WAREHOUSE RIGHT NOW!
JACK TUNNEY, SLICK, AND ONE MAN GANG WE HAVE IN-HAND! HERCULES HERNANDEZ AND PAUL ROMA ARE ARRIVING TO THE PORT ANY DAY!”
“Any day” doesn’t sound great…

how long were we waiting for the ship to actually reach the US with Series 2 figures?
and there's absolutely zero rush on any of these, they won't sell out. none of his figures ever do, might as well save money and wait for the inevitable sales later this year and pay less for the figures, and discounted shipping #winwin

I think the issue will be the “availability” - if anyone has any to sell since Zombie will close the sale after a few days (usually)

Could be any day! Tomorrow or November 2026! I think we have our answer as to why we haven’t seen the finalized/in hand Power and Glory. I was on the fence about buying them as they aren’t really a big want for me. This might help guide that choice.
As far as who has the best products right now? For me it’s Epic, Hasttel, FC, then Zombie. Hear me out: I love them all in their own ways.
-Epic is the most Hasbro-like to me in terms of final production. Since cleaning up the mess that was Chella, they have done everything right, by the book, and stayed clear of drama and negativity. But at the end of the day, I care most about the toys and they seem to be hitting all the right notes for me.
-Hasttel has had the best roster and its choice of parts has been taken directly from Hasbro which doesn’t bother me as much as it does others. If Mitch manages to up his quality, the race will be even closer.
-FC uses the same factory as Epic has a lot of fun characters on the way. Hopefully Jack can improve his production time and maintain the quality of his figures.
-ZST produces the most highly detailed and possibly best quality physical material out there. His releases and his signings have created quite a mixed cast of stars and is delivering many figures I dreamed of having! They are also the least Hasbro like figures in terms of pose and detail. Make no mistake: I love having these figures in my collection and will continue buying them as long as he keeps producing the characters I really love. If he goes back to doing more Hasbro-like poses, I think he will be at/towards the top of the list. The detailing of the figures makes them look incredible at times and I agree that it can be looked at as “what could have been”…but my biggest rush is recreating the feeling I had when I was a kid and some small combination of the poses and increased detail make these figures at times fall short. But it’s a figure by figure basis.
Can’t really rate Retros in there. They might be the most Hasbro like in terms of design/pose but their heads usually miss the mark more than any other company out there. Their lineups are very polarizing at times. I do plan to continue supporting them but will remain vocally critical as I believe there are changes than should be made if possible. I respect the MDT but dislike how in the dark they are forced to be over things. It is completely understandable and I don’t disagree with it; I just enjoy it so much more when these hard working and creative people feel as though they can speak freely.

Wow, Black Strap Andre will be $30? He might be a pre-order out of me. Can anyone show Hasbro Andre next to ZST Blue Strap Andre? That was the special price back on Black Friday 2023

He doesn't have literally half of the upcoming figs in his possession yet haha. Wild. No preorder also could mean god knows how long before he actually starts shipping. He knows this is all bad

What to do? Order OMG/Tunney/Slick separate to get them right away, and order Herc and Roma separate because he doesn’t have them in hand yet?
I’m leaning towards ordering all 5 at once and just hope Herc and Roma arrive soon. Although Zombies track record isn’t the best. “Any day now” could be another month.

I have seen him use that a couple of times now - once using quotation marks. It is a mystery to me who he is quoting or how that makes sense here or if it’s something he seemed to like for whatever reason and decided to run with it.

ZST posted a tease of series 4. You can see someone’s head but I wasn’t sure who it was. Big Bully can be ruled out as it appears they have longer sideburns.
