Does anyone know if I will be charged when preordering or when it ships? Charged up front.

I ordered it. I’ll probably completely forget until it ships probably towards the end of the year.

I ing hate both zombie and rock and roll collectables, they’re charging people here in Australia $127 for shipping alone for their retro figs, meaning this Punk figure costs $220, what on ing earth are they doing, they literally delete any comments on their posts about people telling them about it, they’re throwing away money by sheer incompetence and stupidity

Yeah same here, I got out of wrestling by 93 so not for me, was hoping for a wrestler from the golden era if I'm honest.

I imagine this will likely shift a lot of numbers, and will also possibly get the brand out on a wider level - Punk seems to have a very cult like following. So no doubt this is a big move/ boost for the company; and he must be really excited to get this out. So good for him 👍🏻
But as many others here have said, I’m more into 80’s - mid-90’s, so not for me.

but I don't think this will bring many "new" customers to the party, yes Punk has a cult-like following but he's going to have to be careful in his association with the brand going forward, unless TKO's ownership changes on talent promoting their personal business interests that WWE/TKO are not privy to via their social media
a lot of WWE wrestlers have their own side businesses going, but many couldn't use their social media presence to promote it, so unless TKO's ownership changes the rules on talent promoting their personal interests, I can't see him doing a media campaign when the figure finally arrives, and that's a shame for ZST as no doubt he would benefit massively from Punk himself promoting the figure once it's in hand

That reveal was a massive letdown for me. But seems like some people are really excited for this figure.
I don't hate Punk, but I have no interest in getting Hasbro-Style figures of anyone, that debuted past 1996.

I'm already looking forward to some mixed tag action: Chella Dynamite Kid & Matilda vs. Punk & Larry. Book it!

Maybe he'll have a few extras but like...it's the made to order/pre-order model, dude. We just had a full on commercial featuring Punk and he's promoting it all over his social channels. Of course he'll promote it a bit when the figure is actually available (if ZST actually has extras). Have you looked at social media at all over the last day? People that I've never seen post about a toy are posting about this thing. This is certainly going to have crossover appeal. This probably already has brought new people in. Punk's already posted about it twice today.

Judging by the amount of promotion Punk is giving his Roots of Fight line of apparel and the ZST figure already, I don't think there's an issue with him promoting non-WWE stuff on social media.

Last night I played with shrinking the head and reducing the neck. Although it looks somewhat better, I still think there is something lacking with this. I really wish ZST would do more action feature poses instead of basic articulation. I think this figure would sell me if he were doing Hogan’s slam, Macho’s punch, etc. The closest it feels like is Savage series 1 but it isn’t shaped close enough to that to feel like a wink and a nod.

I'm kind of shocked it doesn't have him doing the "it's clobbering time" look at his wrist because I suspect that's what this is supposed to be.

Granted as you said Zombie's figures tend to be in basic poses anyway, but here specifically I wonder if part of the reason is the intricacy of the tattoo deco.

Does anyone have a shot of OMG next to Hasbro Bam Bam? I'm thinking of picking Gang up... No particular reason why I wanna see him next to Bigelow 😂 I guess I'm wondering about his size in comparison. I've seen him next to Yoko and a few more modern retros like Vader etc.

ZST is promoting the black sharpie x on Punks fist tape as a commitment to detail excellence! Can’t tell if it’s shtick or serious. Clearly the tattoos are more of a acute attention to detail.
