Me neither, no interest in modern guys, wish he would get out the actual Hasbro era guys he's already announced ages ago now. At least it's more relevant than what I expected this announcment to be, thought for sure it was some celebrity.

I suspect this is going to be the highest selling 'retro style' figure from any company, ever. Punk's a legendary wrestling name still active that moves more merch than god. Shipping has been slow on some of this stuff but this makes ZST more of a legit name than any of the other retro companies out there.

Not that I’m a massive AEW fanboy, but Punk’s whole attitude in AEW from Brawl Out to his appearance in WWE has left a bad taste in my mouth. For years he symbolized standing for something and gave the impression that he wanted to create a massive change within the wrestling industry. I bought tickets and drove 6 hours to be at The First Dance when he made his first appearance. But when it became clear that he wasn’t the person I thought he was, I stopped caring. Not just about him but about most of wrestling in general. It killed the passion so to speak. Having a representation of that figure just doesn’t interest me.

That said, I don’t care for the figure either. The head looks like Adam Cole and the entire thing feels lanky. The details are impressive. I could not give a crap less about his gross dog even when I liked the guy.

The commercial is really good though. Props to everyone involved in that one.

It's not for me, but obviously it's a huge deal. Very curious about the tats shown in the ad though. Surely the Pepsi, Cobra and Han and Leia tattoos aren't going to be on this?

Knowing how obsessed Punk seems to be with the dog, wouldn’t surprise me if it was something he pushed for/demanded.

I respectfully still think it's a reach. I don't see it. It's not an amazing sculpt, but I don't think it's Cole. The lack of wrinkles is what makes it kind of off to me, it's like his current older face but as if he got a face lift.
