I talked with them pretty stern back when they cancelled the rocky legacy 3 pack. I mean I wasn’t an ahole, but told them how I’m tired of having stuff cancelled blah blah blah. They just told me how sorry they were (which I agreed) and there’s nothing more they could do to help. Which at the time they did have a 3rd party selling 1 for over $100 which I can’t remember exactly ghowmuch. But I never thought about telling them they should buy me that one and ship it to me lol I've never done this, but it totally serves Walmart right. I'd LOVE to hear them explain "oh I'm sorry we couldn't ship your order because we don't have it in stock. But you can order it ON OUR OWN WEBSITE for triple the price." No customer service genius could ever explain that in a satisfactory way. I’ll never understand Walmart. Idk exactly how they do pre orders and shipments. But I’m in Alabama, they told me the warehouse or whatever was in North Carolina and was out of stock, yet 2 days after being told that I went 40 min down the road and a Walmart had 4-6 of them on the shelves. Not sure why you depend on 1 warehouse when a local Walmart had several of them. |

I’m not sure I like the idea of wal mart buying their own exclusives from 3rd party sellers. Theoretically their workers could hog the figures, resell them at inflated costs and then get wal mart to pay them when customers complain. It’s a win for the buyers but in a way it creates an incentive for these damn scalpers. I may be overthinking it though.

I really want the 2K24 MyFaction code for the Elite Rock, but my local Walmart doesn’t have the proper series to buy a figure to get the code, and I believe the promotion only lasts until the 23rd of this month, if anyone finds the wave with the code included and doesn’t want it, I’ll pay half the price of the Elite for the code and you can keep the figure. I believe it’s only the Rock, RVD, and Harlem Heat figures that are eligible, they’re the only ones I’ve seen with the promo sticker on the packaging.

I received my Stevie Ray preorder last night, only to find out it was an RVD inside a Stevie Ray box, with the back of the box completely resealed with about 10 feet of tape. I never suspected I would have had that type of an issue with an online order. It didn't even have the BAF accessories, which is what I only wanted to begin with.

Well, I still have a Stevie Ray on preorder, and am waiting patiently for that to hit. That has not shipped out, and is not cancelled, but seeing that others are getting their preorders of these is starting to make me nervous.

Wild concept, but fulfill preorders before sending product to stores. People who preorder should get it first anyway, that's the point.

I thought for sure The Rock would be the only 1 from this set that would be the easiest to acquire, whether in store or through the website, and now its delayed, the poor Disciple needs his legs!!

Well they ALMOST got it right...... Hey Mattel how about no more BAF's for Walmart, no more exclusives, enough is enough. They've proven they cannot manage this stuff. I'm extra-pissed because my brother offered to scoop me The Rock 2-3 times and I said "no, I have it pre-ordered and all the other ones have arrived so I'm sure The Rock will too." I could have had it by now and I passed. Personally - I've never seen it in a store (none from Series 3).  |

Meanwhile, on the other brick&mortar hand, I snagged all 3 TMNT Turtles today, any Legend that I want at any time (online too), and the GH Legends are starting to pop up, no issues. Such a weird juxtaposition. Something that's bothered me recently is how useless the Walmart app is overall. Target gives me accurate stock and exactly what stores to go to so I don't waste my time, and it's rarely wrong. Isn't a chore to flag down a team member and have them confirm they're out of something either. Walmart app this weekend showed stuff out of stock in store while I'm physically in said store with the item in my hands. In an age where almost everything you do generates some sort of data point that a savvy company immediately converts into a sale, the world's laziest retailer shows me wrong information and doesn't even bother routing me to another store. I dunno anymore. |

I dunno anymore. I don't think Walmart is actually using any sort of inventory system anymore. Do you remember the "price checkers" that used to be throughout the store? Notice they've all disappeared? I don't think they're maintaining any sort of system anymore. Just blindly sending product to stores. |
