Why do you think that? I think a merchandise deal with the WWE would be more lucrative and profitable than one from AEW. I mean before he retired and was active in AEW they had nothing on their store site from his past. Why? I think because even though he owns his likeness all past looks minus TNA are part of the WWE’s library. So why not sign a merchandise deal to be able to utilize it all and not just the last 3 years of a legendary career? WWE botched his run there - can we all agree on that? He only had a couple of matches - which he inexplicably lost..... left WWE with a few losses and a potentially career-ending injury. AEW treated him like the Legend that he is - putting him in the spotlight, giving him some storylines, and an amazing retirement match. If I were Sting, I'd never give WWE the time of day. However, I doubt Sting would turn down an opportunity to induct his best friend Lex Luger into the WWE Hall of Fame - there's really nobody else better to do it. And I do agree with you, Sting is a business-man, so if WWE were to dangle a sweet merch deal AND a Lex Luger Hall of Fame induction.... Mayyyybee..... they could sway him back into the WWE fold. Yeah his run there was far from even being considered good. It was amazing when he showed up. But I blame Undertaker’s refusing to work with him (especially after he told Jericho to do what the boss asked and work with Fandango at WM a few years earlier) so Mark couldn’t take his own advise? So there should have been a WM win for him. And then hi unfortunate injury killed what ever hopes we had. That said Sting’s a businessman. Vince is gone and I see from a business standpoint the WWE machine is a better fit for a merchandise deal.

To this day I'll never understand why they had to make Sting lose to HHH at Mania. Surely he would have protected himself against that in his contract. It was more nonsensical than HHH going over Booker at mania.

But dude is as selfish as it gets and I never understood why he's never been called out for it. Who did he ever "do the favors for", which goes against the fabric of the wrestling business. I love him, I collect him, I rewatch past matches, but dude only looked out for himself, moreso than any talent outside of prime-Hogan.

Plenty of examples of UT not wanting to do his bit....DDP, Kronik & nWo 2002 are a few more examples.

I agree with you, and I would throw Triple H into that same category; Yes, Triple H did the favors - sometimes. But lest we forget the legendary burials of: Sting, Scott Steiner, Brock Lesnar (WM29), Booker T, Umaga, and there are others. Many others. Triple H has done much to redeem himself in recent years - but we can't forget that at one point, he was just as selfish as the Hogan/Taker.

I didn’t mind him losing to Triple H, but personally I felt he should have won regardless of if they were pushing for Triple H vs Rock at the next WM. But I despised that they had the NWO/DX run ins. I felt that totally took away from the matchup. And honestly it really didn’t make sense because besides Nash and Sting being Wolfpac memebers (which also didn’t make sense when it happened in WCW) the NWO and Sting were always rivals. So why would they come out to help Sting at WM over their Kliq buddy? It should have been just Sting vs Triple H with Sting winning at the end.
I know he’s said in a few interviews it’s always a memorable/positive moment when talking with the fans. But if I were him I would feel like all that took away from my lone WM experience/moment.

They shouldn't have included the NWO/DX thing. They should have just continued on the storyline they were building; IE, Triple and Stephanie were the corrupted authority figures and Sting was here to end that. I still feel that Sting should have won, but it is possible that they thought they would have had him for longer than they did and that he could have gotten his win at the next years WM. The storyline should have stayed on Triple H as the authority figure. He could have defeated Sting with help from current talent, playing on his evil authority figure role.

I know he’s said in a few interviews it’s always a memorable/positive moment when talking with the fans. But if I were him I would feel like all that took away from my lone WM experience/moment. Oh I disagree.... My Wrestlemania party was loving it! Triple H brought his "DX" buddies to level Sting (Sting VS. DX - who ever would have thought?)...... And Sting evened the odds by bringing out The New World Order! (NWO/Sting vs. Triple H/DX - WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT?)..... everyone at my place was standing and cheering. My group were huge WCW Nitro & Attitude Era fans and we were LOVING it! And when Triple H won - the room went dead silent. The wind was literally sucked out of the room. Everyone sat down, dejected, like "welp. That's that." At my house, it went from being one of the most awesome things we'd ever seen to a huge let-down. Just another Triple H burial. "So why'd they even bring Sting in for that?" I think someone said..... What would have been one of my all-time favorite "Wrestlemania Moments" turned into my biggest "Wrestlemania Disappointment". I know Wins & Losses don't really matter in the grand scheme of wrestling..... but it just seemed like Sting needed to win THIS ONE. I mean, storyline wise - the whole reason he came to WWE was to Vanquish Triple H's authority! Storyline wise - Sting failed. It was all a waste. The reality of it was that Vince turned it into WCW vs. WWE - and WWE had to win. But this was supposed to be STING's moment of glory. Sting's "Wrestlemania Moment". Not WCW's. Worst of all - Rock VS. Triple H didn't even end up happening the following year at 'Mania. So the story about WHY Sting lost makes it even dumber.

NEVER! that’s a theman‘s original I could never give it the Justice it deserves. Maybe we can get the Vienna Boys Choir or Taylor Swift to perform it? But it needs to be done by someone on that level. Not some mere ham & egger like me.

Was super easy If wave 3 is that easy i'll be a happy boy 😅 Waves 1 and 2 haven’t been easy at all. I only saw a few Hogans, 1 Taker and a pair of Undertaker and Austin basic swaps. And I haven’t seen anyone from Series 2. It’s a damn shame that a person who lives in the US and has multiple WalMarts stores in the area has to have a friend in Ireland help with Walmart exclusives. lol

Well I just went ahead & pre-ordered all of Series 3 from the Walmart website; I REFUSE to go through this again (still no sightings of Series 2 in my area).
I wasn't sure I wanted all of Series 3, but I decided I'm gonna want the BAF Disciple.
Now..... if Walmart fails to deliver my online orders....... GRRR......
