Converted the BAF parts to png images and tried to assemble Golga the best I could.  Went ahead and added a Cartman image to the shirt as well.  |

the only dud in this set for me is bulldog, but the rest are genuinely pretty rocking figures.

Yeah I don't know about this set. Sure I'll buy a Booker T but only if I spot it at retail, not going out hunting 30 Walmarts for it.
I definitely don't need another Kane or Bulldog, and I was waiting to see what the Hardcore Hak figure looked like - now that I've seen it? It's probably a pass. I don't think the likeness is very good. Am I looking at Sandman, or Dustin Rhodes? And Hak definitely wasn't built with muscles like that. C'mon.
And don't get me started on Golga.... pure Wrestlecrap.

That Booker T is AWESOME! I never bought that maroon one they did ages ago in that Basic Flashback set, and that was my favorite WCW solo attire of his, so I was bummed to miss out on it. While this one isn't the same gear, it's still a really good attire made even better with the inclusion of the TV title. The white version reminds me of that Toybiz figure, so that's another plus.
Speaking of Toybiz, Hak. Almost to a fault, Toybiz Hak in the plain shirt. I didn't expect the hotdog stand torpedoes or whatever the hell he came back with in the day, but at least he's got the barbed wire again. That pants mold looks pretty good, and the gray wash helps make it less plain. There's not a lot of late WCW era stuff to choose from, so that's cool for anyone wanting to see more of that.
Bulldog's thankfully back to the less defined thicker torso, but he looks like forgot to remove his shirt at the beach and only got tan on his arms and face. Hopefully they correct that, because I like this better than I thought seeing it here.
I know one-sleeve Kane has been done a lot lately, especially after the brand new DM, but the mesh flesh slices (ew) he added a few years post-debut make this one a bit different along with something that is easy to miss with the "reduced plastic" packaging: they finally gave him the glossy laceless boots! This is a solid Elite Kane. Hopefully next time they redo the first tanktop singlet with a unique mold.

And I love that we're getting Golga. I love deep cuts like that. It's a shame we probably won't get The Insane Clown Posse, Kurrgan and Giant Silva. Those might be TOO obsecure. But Luna is definitely memorable enough to get in the line.

I wish Golga (and The Disciple, for that matter) weren't BAFs. The difficulty in finding this series aside, if those two were just regular releases, I'd buy them in a heartbeat. Give me all the weird figures.

My mistake. I thought that was his 1998 WCW attire. A WCW Bulldog would be cool. I think he mostly wore the top to bottom Union Jack tights in WCW. My brain wants to tell me he had these ones in WCW Revenge and it could pass for WCW, but I'm probably wrong. |

Finally found DDP. One of my most wanted looks and they botch the hell out of it. Uneven torso tone (Which isn't terrible but it's still there) and mine has the jacked up legs. Cool. I even heated them up and took them off, then put them back on. Cooled down and they're still screwed up. Love that for me. good job man the blow jobs on all of them look fantastic! DX will NEVER be as good as the old nWo. |
