We haven't gotten that exact DDP, though. But I could definitely see them releasing that figure at some point. We really need that Scott Steiner attire. I hope it will be an ultimate edition figure, but I doubt it as the others were not made as ultimate figures. That DDP we got as a Matty Collector elite. That doesn't mean they wouldn't re-release a figure like that, let alone in this line. Look at the best of wave HBK - released two previous times with single jointed elbows and obviously no extra hands. And that DDP was re-released in the mainline elite line with different a waistband colour and hair colour. AND they're re-releasing figures with the True FX, double jointed elbows and extra hands in the Greatest Hits and From the Vault lines. So chances are, they will re-release that DDP again, especially if they've teased it as an UE. They're clearly planning to release all of those UE's from the Nitro stage as regular elites. Or, if that rumoured list is accurate and they are doing an UE DDP, they'd probably go with the 1995-1997 tights look. I just hope they go with a different colour scheme like the green designs on black tights. I would be willing to bet it'd be the same as the 2 previous versions/the Nitro stage UE deco though.... |

Got around to opening a few of my series 3 figs I've gotten over the past couple weeks so I have a few extra codes for the figure version of Rock in 2K24 if anyone wants them.

Found two stores with Series 4, so was able to nab Hennig and light jeans DDP (I found Austin separately last week), and no Boss Man at either store. What am I missing?

Found a Bam Bam on the shelf tonight that looks like it might have been the "Greetings From Asbury Park" edition, but still snagged it. Funny enough it has a price in the system, but wouldn't scan at the register. Unlike my Basic 150 episode, got an employee to punch in the price to get me on my way. I did ask if they could scan the barcode again to see if any other store had it, and the inventory quantity everywhere is "-1".  Every figure in this line is a chase! Womp womp. |

Finally some luck this past week. Found and grabbed a lone booker last Friday and today came across a lone stevie and series 4 minus ddp. Grabbed curt and the stevie.

Big names might boost sales by hooking the casual buyers, but the MNW line still desperately needs more "first time" names (particularly on the WCW side) to interest the hardcore fans and collectors. Let us not forget this is a limited line in terms of production run and distribution/availability. Filling slots with guys who have already had loads of figures and that would sell perfectly well in the more mass produced series' (e.g. Legends, Elite, etc) is wasting the potential of this line. Mattel needs to use this line's existence as a reason to push WWE to approach/sign more new names, and try and finally hit some of the longtime, important WCW gaps IMO. |

I would love for that to be true, but I don't believe that is what is happening. I just think that getting a Goldberg in the line, while we have had him before, would be more interesting then "yet another Rock" in the line. |

As many of you know my buddy broke the news last year about Kidman potenially signing a legends contract, now my buddy is hearing that Billy Kidman may be a upcoming BAf in this line as Mattel intends to make the BAFs more attractive to encourage buying the whole series such as Khali and The Disciple.
