So many Monday night wars elite sets hitting and my local stores sitting on empty shelves for months on end isn’t surprising but definitely frustrating

Went to 5 different Wal-Marts in Pittsburgh, PA. Not one had a MNW figure. This crap is getting old. It’s ridiculous that every single WM around here never got any of the waves yet. We don’t even have the sticker for price tags on the pegs.

Found a full set of greatest hits tonight!! The Eddie is an awesome upgrade. Hopefully they get his black singlet or red singlet in the line later. Bam bam’s head is crazy wobbly. The triple H is decent but the jean knee joints are still way too stiff. The HBK is a complete whiff. Vincent is…Vincent, lol. Great for more nWo background characters. Really needed his head because the Rumble ridge holland never hit stores around me…so Virgil is headless no more!!

For a company based in Arkansas, Walmart sure hates the south.

The Eddie alone is perfect. Bam Bam with the grey outfit too. That’s a bummer you never found that Ridge for the head, along with it being a great figure. Holland is the only one I got from tha set so now that I MNW GH, I technically have Vincent although I’ll keep the set MOC besides the extra Eddie & Bam Bam I found.

Checked mine again today. Still nothing. 4 (5 now with Greatest Hits) sets in, and all we got was the first set of Ultimates. I hope next year we get "Thunder vs Smackdown" at a retailer that gives a ****, and they're just re-releases of this line in a cool blue box.

Legit Question:
If Greatest Hits is hitting NOW (I haven't found them but I can read the reports on here).... and we seem to be done with MNW Series 4.....
Steve had stated on one of the threads that MNW Series 5 was a "2025 Series".
Does that mean we'll see no more Monday Night Wars til next year? What about October, November, December? Oh you know, the busiest retail months of the year as we lead up to Christmas? Good 'ol Walmart, just let those toy shelves sit empty during the busiest toy shopping months.
I know my Series 5 Pre-Order is dated for shipment January 2025. Later if Walmart does it's usual "delay".
The whole thing's a joke anyway because they've scarcely been available to begin with, but I'm just wondering if they've already shipped everything out for 2024.

Since Series 3 just got included in the Survivor Series shipper, I’m hopeful that both GH and Wave 4 get more releases throughout the rest of the year. I could also see GH get included in next years WrestleMania shipper.

It just doesnt make sense....at all.
So yes of course there is a collector market for these figures, probably the majority. But you also gotta assume scalper market is huge again right?
Well search for Monday Night War Booker T on the 'bay, there's 54 listings that populate including some with both him & stevie 446 completed listings including some with both him & stevie going back to early August
half of all that being the chases
Lets say you double that for collectors who found in store. Then add scalpers who sell on other sites and apparently UK distribution
There's no way Mattel only made like 2,000 of these sets. and that's just a low estimate so far.
WHERE ARE ALL THESE THINGS?

I just sold Stevie Ray on the bay and chase Booker on Facebook (sans BAF) for a total of $23 each, not including shipping. But yeah, the second hand market is crazy for these. I only found one set of Series 4 on eBay and it was going for $250. But to your point, this happened with the RA series. Where did all the Torrie Wilson’s, MVP’s and Miz’ go? I saw the latter two once. And I say that as I check out 3 Walmarts a couple times a week.

Then add scalpers who sell on other sites and apparently UK distribution There's no way Mattel only made like 2,000 of these sets. and that's just a low estimate so far. WHERE ARE ALL THESE THINGS? It's a valid question, and it really doesn't add up, I just Googled - there are about 4700 Walmarts in the United States right now. I dare say past MNW Series 1 - no American Walmart has gotten more than ONE case per store for the pegs. Many never got them at all. EVERY pic I saw of a Summerslam shipper only had ONE case of MNW (Series 2 or Series 3) on it. And again, NOT every store got a shipper, and NOT every shipper had MNW on it. I don't think anyone on here has reported finding more than ONE case of Series 4 in any single Walmart yet. And these new hanging-shippers (I haven't found one yet) seem to have a mix but still only ONE case of MNW Greatest Hits. So based on what's out there, are we saying Mattel only produced 5000 each of these things? I don't think anyone can confirm that any of the 4700 Walmarts have received more than one case per store. That's practically a collector-Chase (1/5000). My question is, why are so many of these only going into Walmart only on shippers? Why aren't they being distributed through Walmart's regular distribution system? And why isn't Walmart selling them through their own website? If we were depending on Walmart's regular store distribution, we'd still be on MNW Series 1 in most areas. I'm going back to my theory that Mattel produces maybe 10,000..... Walmart only buys 5,000 (in their minds, one case per store is good) ..... and the rest get sold off to "Wholesalers" who either then sell them to "Resellers" (Scalpers) or the Wholesalers ARE the Scalpers. That's how so many end up on Ebay & the secondary market at double & triple the price. I had to buy MNW Series 2 Kevin Nash from an Ebay Reseller at an inflated price and I won't do it again.

I'm not normally one to complain about distribution issues and I've mostly quit collecting but 2 of my most wanted figures since Mattel got the WWE license are in this set. I've only seen series one and then a Fake Diesel from 2. That's it.

Still in the same places. Hell I even moved the one over to see if they did ever restock and sure enough, it was in the same place
