On the older Basic figures (Elite as well, I dont know) they have the head peg, the peg has the normal bubble on the one side and the other is the loop that goes around the plastic inside the neck.
If when removing a head, the whole peg came out (so it came off the inside completely) leaving me holding the peg, can I get it back in without damaging the figure? I know with the two sided ball peg, you can get it back in with some heat.
What can I do with this older peg version to get it back in? Is there something else I can do to get a head back on the body? Can I use the newer two sided ball peg?

I had this problem with the early Elite R Truth.
From what I remember, there's a bar in the neck, that was keeping that clip part of the ball peg together/attached.
What I did was cut a little bit off of the clip on one side only, and looped in the longer part of the clip in like a hook, underneath the bar inside the neck.
It stayed in there pretty tight and retained all the articulation as well.
Not the best at giving instructions, so I wish you luck!

Thanks for the help...I appreciate it.
I ended up using a newer head peg with the balls on each side. Heated up the figure neck and was able to get it in. Looks good to me!
