The Big Rubber Guys by The Major Pod Guys is a dream come true for those (like myself) who grew up with the original WWF LJN figures from the 80's. After all of these years, I still have my LJNs & am excited to possibly add to my collection. The Golden Era of WWF from 1985-1991 was my favorite era of wrestling & was featured in the original WWF LJN line. The old 90's WCW, 2000's WWE Jakks & current AEW Jakks style figures were cool but scaled way too small to the originals & really didn't fit. The Matt & Bryan figures were a nice start, but then they announced Demolition & showed some great prototype pics of them. Marty Jannetty was also recently announced. I am all in on this line. Retros are cool, but the Big Rubber Guys are scratching my LJN itch. I can't wait to see how far this line can go, so many holes to fill & maybe better versions of original LJNs possibly. I have included a poll to see who you guys want to see. My poll is focused on people who were active in the WWF from the Original LJN line time frame (1984-1989). If I missed anyone that you would like, please let me know in the comments!

I selected a lot of non-wrestlers and deceased talent. Lord Alfred, Monsoon, Perfect, Fink, Tunney, Zeus, Dusty, and Bad News Brown.

This line has so much potential, so many possibilities, so many holes to fill.

Am I the only one who would like for them to do guys from the Hasbro line and match the same look/attire. It would be nice to put the big rubber guys next to my carded Hasbro's. So far Demolition and Marty Jannetty match their Hasbro figures.

A lot of the guys from at least the first two series, those attires were pretty much from 1988 or 1989, so they would fit more in line with the LJN series. Hogan, Macho Man, Macho King, DiBiase 1 & 2, Brutus, Jake the Snake, Ultimate Warrior 1 & 2, Twin Towers, Bushwhackers, Duggan, Honky Tonk, Piper, and Snuka. But I wouldn't be opposed to them doing the entire Hasbro line, putting the Big Rubber Guys next to the Hasbro's in the same attires on the shelf would be cool.

Butch Reed would be the only one for me. Surprised he never got one.

Unfortunately, 23 of the people on this list are deceased (by my count). That's pretty depressing.

Would a re-done poll of 80’s talent who we think don’t have WWE Legends deals be of value? The problem is that it’s a guessing game in many cases. JYD and Santana have had recently announced independent figs, so are they no longer under Legends deals? Volkoff and Muraco, to my recollection, have had no figs in quite a while. Are they available? Then there’s people like Warlord and Dusty, who in a short span of time got Big Rubber Guys and WWE figures announced. Very confusing these days! Personally, I’m hoping it means we are trending toward less exclusive deals and ability to get figs from multiple companies and form factors!

We feel we know what the fans want and also…we are fans first! We check all the feedback and have wish lists of our own too. All of 2024 is booked. 2025 isn’t as we don’t want to sign talent and have them wait like other companies.

Cool, so Hercules, Dino Bravo, Butch Reed, The Rougeaus, Bad News Brown, One Man Gang/Akeem, and Tama are all coming this year! Kidding, of course (though hoping for at least a couple of these).
