TTL Series 3 Chris Jericho

Afternoon all,

Everyone knows the TTL 3 Jericho scan is one of the worst ever, however there is a different scan on the back of the card

It has a different face and top knot hair

The same scan is also used on the figure in the group picture.

Anyone have any ideas if this scan has ever seen the light of day?

As a Jericho competitionist, it's well on the holy grail list.

I can’t say I’ve seen the original head for sale. Would have been preferable.

Damn, the prototype head looks great compared to what we got. Can't say I've seen it before to be honest, the picture of it not the actual head for sale.

Prototype head remains hidden and unreleased

But it looked so much better..

They changed Jericho heads so much at the start - His first 3 figures all had different heads - Double Slam 4 prototype looked great, crummy released
Raw Heat 2 Head was amazing, but only released once or twice

Then they went to town with the TTL5 Head forever

Looks like the same horrible head sculpt to me just with a different hair piece. But the God awful face is the same.

I know this is pre real scam, but IMO Jakks was never able to get Jericho's face right. Except the WCW figure with the giant head.

Yeah the BoWCW scan was his best, but I thought his CS 21(?) likeness was there.

Yeah, there weren't many good Jericho headscans, even into the RA era. The one in the early Adrenaline 2-pack with HBK was notably bad to me, and was used a lot.



On the other hand, I always thought this one did a pretty solid job of capturing his short-lived mid-2005 look and haircut:

The last head Jakks did for Jericho was great I thought. The one before that (for the long tights DA) was good too.
