Not sure if this is the right forum area for this, but it has to do with paint, so I figured I'd try here
I received a box full of figures and some of them have red paint (it looks like paint) on their faces and hair. I want to try and remove the paint and get the figure's face close to clean and normal, then repaint areas that need it.
In my first attempts using acetone on one, alcohol on another, the paint comes off, but its leaving a red / orange stain behind on the face. Is there anyway to get the stains out and get the figure's faces back to normal color? Or is it just stained and that is that?
Ive tried eraser, magic eraser, alcohol and the best I can do is lighten it barely.
Any info is greatly appreciated.
