For wrestlers signed with AEW and ROH, yes. Double J would fall into that category. So the way it usual works from what I’ve gathered (but I’m far from an expert) is with big franchises there’s usually a ‘master license’ which has the usual big hitters (6” figures etc) but then the licensee can sell the license for other products to other companies. I.e. mattel have wwe master license - they produce the 6” figures, rings, accessories for said figures like the wrekkin stuff etc. however what they don’t have is the license for bobble heads, funko style statues etc etc which is why other companies make them. Similarly that company a few years back did a stone cold, kane, undertaker and HHH but they were different scale to what mattel gave the license to. So yeah, could be treading on toes here But then other licenses are far more complicated - I.e. turtles. From what I gather: Super 7 have the license to the previous toys Neca have the license for all screen shown (movie, tv etc) Then other companies put out other stuff So yeah, can be complicated Yeah thats pretty much right. And also that 6 inch figure category can be sliced up even further by things like points of articulation, where its being sold, materials its made of and even what factory its being made at.

I'll eat my hat if ZST gets a fully articulated, modern style Jeff Jarrett figure into collectors' hands in the next 361 days. “You sit there and you thump your Bible, and you say your prayers, and it didn't get you anywhere. Talk about your psalms, talk about JJ 361…” ZST 361 says I just delayed your figures!

ZST 361 says STOP ING ASKING ME WHERE YOUR ING ORDER IS YOU ING MARKS! YOU! (That might actually be tamer than what he's said in the past)

Also, unless you’re under an on-air talent contract, not every deal is the same and/or exclusive. Andre the Giant, for example, has figure deals everywhere including Super7 which is the same scale as Mattel. Chella also doing a R&B Valentine in the Hasbro style is another example. I can also see Jarrett after previously losing his name and likeness not willing to sign over exclusivity to anyone.

I will definitely buy Double J. Really hoping Raven is one of the other 3 right out of the gate. Something like Jeff/Raven/Dino/One Man Gang would be amazing. But I'm looking forward to how these turn out. I'd buy any ECW guys he's making already in Retro form in 6" scale. So Roadkill, Mikey, Awesome, Pillman, etc. Hopefully he has a Franchise coming too he just hasn't shown us.

Dino along with Power and Glory would be good for wave 1. Get figs we’d been begging to get for years right out the gate.

Tajiri could fit into so many different collections too cause of the eras he's been through!

I haven't brought anything from ZST yet mainly because I don't collect retros, but this line has my interest. Cool that he is doing this Jeff Jarrett the sculpt, attire, and likeness looks good hopefully he is able to release this. My only complaint would that I hope he changes the single jointed elbows to double jointed ones. Call me spoiled but ever since the AEW and current elites have had those extra joints I feel like every wrestling figure should have that articulation.

No interest from me on anything besides Hasbro style figs, but glad to see he's still working with Double J. I would love a couple repaints of the retro. Yeah same. Even though it looks cool, i'll stick to his Hasbro-esque products

Thought it was something treading on his future territory. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him pop up in series 1.

Trying to remember who else he has under contract. Matt and Brian would be passes. As would Nick Gage. Brody may no longer be possible if PowerTown actually does have him exclusively. Depending on price I’d buy Raven, One Man Gang, Bundy, and whichever Hebner he has signed. Dino and Tunney too. His roster is insane. LOD, power and glory, mike awesome, tajiri, rvd, Barry Horowitz, bill Alfonz, pillman, Mikey whipwreck, mr Hughes, slick, bad news brown, big bully busick… the only ones I’d probably pass on would be pettingill and Tunney I’m sure Ryder will be in series 1 along with double J. The other two slots should be LOD

Not everything is exclusive. Andre, Slaughter, and Bulldog all have figures with other companies. DiBiase had a deal with PowerTown at least for a short period of time while also with WWE. There seems to be a lot more freedom with talent being able to do deals with other companies. May be why we have seen an increase in first time or return to the line after a long talent getting signed recently.

I remember during the classic superstars days, contacting Dino's daughter as well as Boris Zhukov to get their contact info to forward on the Jeremy Padawer. Obviously those things didn't work, but I am so glad we are getting Hercules & Dino. I'm sure they will be in scale, I truly think that's the only way this line gets traction. I hope we can get some other 80's guys like Ken Patera, Ron Bass, Billy Jack Haynes, the Killer Bees & the Rougeau's .

Really surprised Jeremy/Jakks didn't do Boris Zhukov, Bravo is understandable as WWE may have blocked him. Looking back at the list of guys on the placeholder list could have gotten most of them out. He had some guys for the Legends of the Ring TNA line that never came out Ole Anderson, Black Bart, Scott Steiner plus some of the carryovers from the Classic Superstars that weren't WWE looks.

There's an Adrian Adonis twitter account, I wonder if I should make the one aware of the other?
