Not sure if anyone here is into what is endearingly referred to as Emo music.
[Sp01Ler alert: It me.]
But anyway, about 6 months or so ago, I got a notification from the SXM app, talking about the new channel. The Emo Project.
I switched it on, and immediately fell in all levels of love.
Stuff I've been listening to for 20 years. From as far back as The Middle by Jimmy Eat World all the way to a band I hadn't heard of called Can't Swim and a fairly recent tune of theirs called i heard they found you face down inside your living room. Another band I got turned onto that they've played is Bright Eyes and their song "Lover I Don't Have To Love".
As soon as I turned it on, a flood of memories of most of this stuff hit me like a ton of bricks. Good times and bad from my teen years, early 20s, to now.
One of the bumpers says "We told you it wasn't a phase" and I felt that in my soul because it's something I've been saying for nearly those same 20 years plus as some of these songs have been in existence.
Anyone else listen to this? It's probably only me.

I'll admit I never looked into the band but I like what I've heard on SXM.
