Figured I'd make a thread to roll off some steam. I've been recently trying out new Mountain Dew sodas. Just like collecting, it's fun to go out and find specific flavors. Well, I'll be honest I just like sodas in general. I normally stay away from foods with corn syrup and caffeine. I've recently found out that there's been a lot of new releases (holiday themed etc). Every Halloween for the last couple years, there's been a Voodew release (which is a mystery flavor). Anyways, I went out of my way to order a 12 pack of Livewire Mountain Dew. Being as hyped as I was, I ended up getting scammed through Amazon by a third party seller. What a disappointment... Waited about two weeks for nothing. Wanted to keep the mood light and discuss beverages with fellow W'figs members. Anyways, I got to try this years mystery Dew (which I wasn't even able to find in my state to begin with) and I strongly believe it's Sweet Tarts/smarties flavored. It's delicious. To start this thread off, feel free to post a picture of your favorite soda or the last carbonated beverage you drank. I'll update this thread if I'm able to get Livewire from another seller. Thanks for coming to my Ted Talk.  EDIT: Tried these recently. The Icy Blue Razz flavor was pretty good and I didn't feel like I got anxiety after. Don't like the aftertastes that these leave (due to them being sugar free). The Skittles flavor was great too, but it's definitely more for a workout. It literally felt like I had hives or some kind of allergic reaction. It's supposed to create a tingling sensation. Maybe those of you who take BCAA's could relate. I haven't worked out in two/three years. I probably won't be drinking these anymore, but they were good for the try. |

5.Orange Soda
Don't drink it like it use to but those are the go to when I do.

I’ve loved Code Red since it was invented.
I quit drinking soda about 4 months ago.
The last two days I’ve bought a Code Red again.
It doesnt hit the same anymore. Maybe I’m just old

I’ve loved Code Red since it was invented. I quit drinking soda about 4 months ago. The last two days I’ve bought a Code Red again. It doesnt hit the same anymore. Maybe I’m just old I absolutely hate Code Red. Reminds me of cough drop medicine. I think the issue with most sodas is the carbonation is too strong, alongside with artificial sugars (corn syrup). As I got older, I leaned more towards sugar cane/ glass bottled sodas. There's just no going back. Now here I am drinking regular sodas again since Mountain Dew only has one version with actual sugar cane. |

I stopped drinking soda many years ago but my 2 favs and 2 I'll still drink from time to time is Ginger Ale and Cherry Coke

Mountain Dew at the top. As many I like as I can think of: regular, Voltage, Code Red, Cherry Citrus Game Fuel, Legend, Baja Mango, Baja Punch, VooDew 2022, Spark, Major Melon
Orange soda in general, Fanta is the best IMO. Although I’m not crazy about Mountain Dew Livewire.
Cherry Coke, Coke, Dr Pepper, Cherry 7-UP
Currently drinking Sunkist orange soda…. And currently in the fridge is Sunkist, Dr Pepper, Wild Cherry Pepsi, and VooDew

Pepsi Max. I used to be really addicted to the stuff, easily downing two litres a day before realising that this isn't ideal. Gave it up for about six years before going back to it, albeit in smaller quantities.

I no longer drink soda on a regular basis. Maybe twice a year. I'm weird. When I was younger, I could only enjoy Coca Cola from Friendly's restaurants. It just tasted so much better than canned or bottled coke.
My go-to is Dr. Pepper, though.
