Whether it's leaks or reveals, just give me more WCW/NWO era, particularly "first time" and "deep dive" names.
The Monday Night Wars line is the perfect reason for Mattel to push WWE to approach more WCW/NWO era names, and put those new "non-A-lister" type merch contracts to use.
Really hoping for some WCW/NWO era surprises this year.

Can we finally get a dx debut xpac jeans and leather jacket Yes, but with no bandana and when you complain, someone from Mattel will tell you to just use the bandana from a figure that came out 3 years ago.

I don’t think it was AEW that was keeping Flair away from WWE. He parted ways years ago and doesn’t seem like he has any interest in coming back anytime soon.

Flair was never contracted to AEW. His drink was a sponsor and the drink company paid for Flair to appear.

The deal was for his energy drink. All reports have said AEW didn't pay Flair and that his drink company was paying his appearances.

I think Flair has said he likes being able to do his own thing without a Legends contract so that’s the reason he hasn’t had any figures in a few years. Maybe he changes that with Hunter in charge, but at the same time I don’t know if he can maturely handle if Cena breaks his record so that could keep him away.

Kanek from Major Bendies was on a podcast earlier this week saying guys like Slaughter and Duggan have told him the royalties they get from them are bigger than any of the checks they get from WWE. With pro wrestling tees and a bunch of indie toy and video game makers popping up it’s probably better for talent to not lock themselves into a legends deal.

If flair does come back we need an old man flair. I’d love to have orange robe old man flair

Which a lot of guys have said in the past too. Legion Of Doom’s estates are probably getting more from all the different companies making their figures and merch than WWE will probably get them at the moment.

But he chose to stop associating with WWE. He could have been with them this whole time and not done anything with AEW had he wanted. WWE wasn't preventing it, Ric wanted nothing to do with them. I'm sure he'll eventually go back but I'm not sure what it'll take.

There’s a chance Ric could be unassociated until it’s Charlottes choice.
