Hey guys, has anyone else watched the official trailer for Clerks 3? What did yall think of it?
It looks fantastic and seems to be bringing in tidbits of minutia of past films and real stories into it. I am thrilled beyond belief. Welcome home fellas!

Loved the first 2 but iffy about them making a third. Hoping it’s not filled with try hard topical jokes. I’ll still watch it either way though.

Ugh. Same old weed jokes, Silent Bob BS, snarky comments, dumb plots, fourth wall breaking but with everyone looking too old and cringy to be doing this. Hell yes I'm gonna see it!!!

I'll see it too. Nothing tops the 1st for me and I was disappointed in the 2nd but this looks better.

The second one sucked, but had one of the most powerful scenes imo (The jail scene), this one looks like it's got a ton of heart though.

Watched the trailer twice today. I have been waiting for this movie for a long time and even created my own ending for it years back. No way I can share it here. Lol

I really got into Kevin Smith movies when I was in Uni, but I hear that he's gotten a lot more self-referential and insulated in his own bubble over the years, and this trailer just seems like the natural product of that. A movie about how he made his first movie. Not a hugely appealing premise for me personally, but I'll watch it if I stumble upon it. Still haven't seen that Jay & Silent Bob reboot.
I should rewatch Clerks 2. I remember liking it.
